The decisive moment

any thoughts on Howard's positioning / movement / anticipation of the shot?

it was brought about by our 100% switch from being cautious to grabbing the initiative, we had gone 2-1 up just come close and knew 2-1 , after extra time meant we would lose on away goals so we were seizing the moment and pouring forward , but one real quality ball from Kane who was excellent through out did for us,,,,,,cant really blame our players, who must have been shattered, a quality ball beats 3/4 tired players any day of the week ., and Eriksons quality pass into the bottom corner was sublime .So he hit top left corner and bottom right , for his goals with quality strikes, 11million they paid for him looks well spent .

It was just a period of the game that went Spurs way and I'm not saying they didn't deserve it but it could just as easily have gone our way.....
For me had it not been for walker I think we would have won, but even with him at the end it still could have gone either way....

Good luck to Spurs in the final and I hope they haven't used it all up against us ....;)

Can we please stop referring to this as a great pass?

It's a great finish and a Premiership quality move, especially given the pressure, but I could honestly have played that ball and would be rightly pissed off with myself if I'd messed it up. With that gap, it's easy.

Can't say I blame anyone really. They were all knackered having given it everything, physically and mentally, for 90 mins.

Oooh another Premiership player who never quite made it.
