I think anyone who still thinks Selles should be given another game or two needs to look at last night's team selection compounded by not making changes at half time.
Leaving out your best players and playing out of form youngsters in their place suggests there's been a bust up behind the scenes or he's an idiot or both

Seriki and Burrows WBs
Then take your pick of the multitude of capable midfielders we do actually have in the squad
Campbell and Ings would be decent, ideally never Cannon again but even he might be better in a 2.

Recruitment was a disgrace however Selles is clearly out of his depth, he'd probably get Liverpool relegated

• A back 5 of Burrows - Tanganga - Bindon - McGuinness - Ogbene is solid at this level, on paper.
• Hamer is a cheat code when you know how to use him.
• Campbell is one of the best forwards in the league when he's given service.

• Our goalkeeper is crocked, which is making a premier league quality keeper look like Grbic.
• Absolutely zero progressive ability in our midfield. If Soumare, Matos and Peck get 5 assists this season between them, I'll be stunned. Winning the ball is only half the battle, you have to be able to distribute.
• To say the board are so obsessed with analytics, it was blindingly obvious that our only players with a decent Shot-Creating Action / 90 are Hamer and Burrows. It means when Hamer doesn't play, or Burrows is out of form, we create nothing.
• If Campbell gets injured, we're done.

Totally agree that we started the season far too light in numerous areas of the squad, and the board absolutely have to take the blame for that.

However he’s now got the players in that we needed and had 2 weeks to prepare for last night’s game/analyse what’s been going wrong, and we were even worse, so you can only point the blame in 1 direction.

I know it's not saying much but if we played 2 up front, I wouldn't mind us using One and Marsh on rotation along side Campbell and ings.

They can't be any worse than Cannon and playing them in other positions gives them responsibility they don't need (playing One wide left for example)
