Not seen this mentioned elsewhere but John got a mention in the BBC interview with Vincent Tam (at least the on the radio edit last night). Essentially all he said was he didn't know why he was signed and has sent him out on loan at a big loss. No comments about beards disappointingly.

Sadly that's exactly why they interview him, guaranteed headlines.
Well it's great that he doesn't like Brayford, hopefully means they'll sell him to us on the cheap! Brayford has nothing to prove to Tam/ Tan or whatever his name is, but it'd be great if eventually (when we get there) Brayford scores the goal to send Cardiff down from the championship to league 1. Back where they belong

I think he ought to grow a Fu Man Chu and have a beard-off with our John.

It could all get a bit hairy.

Brayford is just too good for League 1, let's enjoy him whilst he's here!

We obviously want him, we could maybe afford him (not convinced yet) and he would like to play for us/Clough. However, he would like to play for us if we were in the championship. At 26, he will need to make serious career decisions now, and it wouldn't be wise for him to join a club that won't be in the prem for a MINIMUM 3 years, and let's face it, it will be more than that. The lad can't hang around if he retains aspirations to play Premier League football. We all know he is good enough to be there.

Unfortunately, it's just a no go if the guy is as driven as he is talented. Shame, but the truth really.

Or on the flip side, perhaps he thrives on playing for a team that loves him, that plays proper football and where he can make decent wad of a few grand a week and just enjoy his football.

You never know...

True, but he's also loved at Derby who:

1. would have him back in a heartbeat
2. Can pay more wages than us
3. Could be in the prem next season

Obviously, I would LOVE us to sign him, but I think every single Championship team would be in for him if he became available and probably a few prem sides too.

listen,if we win our next 3 games in the league, taking points off Mk today and peterboro, lets see where that takes us in the league, safety is our priority, but if we can get to within 6 points of6th,then this season could get even more exciting.
The team are enjoying there football and it shows.Brayfords been a revelation, but so have Murphy, flynn and scougall.
Lets not forget about them.

If he can't get into a piss poor cardiff side then i doubt anybody else from the prem would want him either

But they don't have one Mr Nigel Clough.

The only way to see what's possible is to put a package together that Brayford would look favourably upon, test the water with Cardiff to see how approachable they are about this, then sign the fella. Failing that, a season long loan, with no call-back clauses. Tan sounds like a loon, so whilst not underestimating the guy, let's see if we can help him out and relieve him of this 'mistake'. John must know how highly he's regarded here, so if there's even a slight chance of signing him, this should be the first opportunity for the Prince to show us how determined he is to help his manager.

Steady on, he's already put a £1 in

'kinell Grumpy, if the Prince has to double his investment and fork out two quid that's money well spent. don't you think?

What next, a crisp fiver to tempt a gifted forward?

Money spent on Brayford would be well spent but has HRH got a crisp fiver?

Any Bladettes in on this ?
