The Bouncing Song?

Don't really get it tbh, I know that the point is to mock the pigs but who cares about what they sing? At the end of the game when the players came over everyone was singing it and it seemed a bit weird to me, would much rather we just sang our own songs.

Quite right , leave the toddler in a playpen routine to that lot , suits them .

Us singing that at that precise moment is quite magnificent shithousery and one of the things that makes this sport enjoyable. They'd be doing exactly the same to us and I'd be forced to cap doff through painfully gritted teeth.

Just took the piss out of the pigs by singing it back to them. Same with we're all fucking wankers at the Lane

Its called having a laugh
I see where you are coming from , I'll put it down to an age thing on my part 😁

Was Sunday the first time that has been sung at the Sty since the Duffy moment?

If it wasn’t already dead to them then surely it is now?
I must confess…..I was bouncing and singing their song in the away end on Sunday at the end of the game. It was like an out of body experience 🤣. I looked the pig fans in their eyes as they were exiting along the concourse at the front of the south stand and it felt good……almost like my soul was being cleansed and the ghosts of previous derby defeats were being erased. I’m 58 years of age, with 2 false hips, but I bounced around like Anton Du Beke, and sang as loud as Lemmy from Motorhead😵‍💫, and I bloody enjoyed myself ⚔

If only your old hips had been there to see it.

I've noticed us doing it a bit more this season....singing the songs our rivals sing about us. I believe it stems from away at Leeds, where every time we sang at them, they joined in and even carried it on. It works well to wind an opposition fan base up, or take any air out of them. I enjoyed singing it at the sty. You could see they hated it, and that's surely the point

I couldn't tell if words were changed

It started off as us singing "If you don't bounce you're a Blade", which didn't really make much sense as we were the ones bouncing... as it went on, it gradually changed to "you're a pig"

No they still sing it at games. Don't think they've dared sing it against us though. Afterall, that time in 2017 was the last time they scored against us.

The song wasn’t sung literally. As noted, it was a piss take.
In that case, I’m out.

Not of piss takes. Of ones where just saying (or singing) the same thing back is classed as a piss take.

I think we should fully steal it and change Blade to Pig. Sing it home and away and get it going.

Oh and same for WAWAW - whenever you hear it just say “yes, Wilder always wins at Wednesday” it’s the pettiness that’s brilliant when you’re in the driving seat like us.

Or

We're all Wilder aren't we?
