I think it is about time people past and present hold their hands up and say I was to blame for the poor standard off Sheff Utd. Yes the manager should take some of the blame for the team they send out week to week, but i would like to see players say sorry and not jump ship at the end of the season. But at the end of the day it should be the board that take the most of the blame because over the years we have sold a few good players, Brown, Jagielka, Kenny, Sharp, Kilgallon, Cotterill, Hendrie, Howard, Carney, Naughton, Walker, Bettie, Tonge & Hulse just to name a few, yet we have not replaced them with the same standard or better style of player.

So come on members of the board, put your hands in your pocket and put this club back where it belongs. Or sell up and go.

McCabe and fat Robbo are to blame, Warnock should have have been given the new contract and had a year to get us back up, but no our Turry wanted his owd mate Brian Robson at the Lane. It was down hill from then on!!!

There is only one person to blame and that is McCabe. He has total control over the club, supplies the money and decides who to hire and fire. Ever since we was relegated from the PL, McCabe has been making poor decision after decision. This is why we are here now.

Also, i have to disagree with a few names from your list. Cotterill, Hendrie, Howard, Carney, Tonge & Hulse. Apart from Hulse, none of them were any good so you can't blame the board or manger for not replacing them when they hardly offered anything in the first place. The blame should be on "why was they brought to the club in the first place". All these names were rightly sold or released, esp Hendrie, Howard and Carney who hardly did anything. It was right to let Hulse go when we did as he wasn't offering us anything at the time - due to injury

Even if they didn't offer much we replaced them with worse players.

But if it was all so simple to replace those players, with ones of equal or better talent for less money, then surely the teams who bought our 'Star' players, would simply have done that themselves ?
Well I know what I mean!!

Blackwell for everything he did ,he should never have been let near the club after leaving for Leeds.

Why is Michael Tonge on that list?

Cost us nothing, was an integral part of a Blades team promoted to the Premiership and ended up being sold for several million pounds profit.

Jeez, why don't we add Jagielka to the list as well!

the moment it all went wrong was Mcabe not letting Blackwell go after losing to Burnely in the playoff final.

a new manager coming in then and i doubt we would be in the position we are in now mid table maybe but not relegation.

it all went wrong after that the sale of naughton and walker kenny getting banned too many loan players coming in and no stability at the club.

How much did that meal cost when Robbo landed the job in Vegas? Must be one of the most expensive even for a town of high rollers.
