November '87. Finished 21st in the old 2nd Division & were relegated via a play off (we've never been particularly good at those have we?).

A certain Mr Chris Wilder was part of the squad I believe. No idea who the top scorer was.

When in April? The Blades won the Cup on 25th April 1925, did you get to see the match? Our manager John Nicholson was a bit of a Wilder prototype, the team consisted of ten Englishmen and Billy Gillespie the captain.

3rd in the old Division 2, 1958/59. Fulham and Wendy got promoted. I can't say it concerned me very much. Three days before I was born we beat Barnsley 3-1 at Oakwell, and three days after we beat Rovrum 2-0 at BDTBL. Sort of business as usual really. The Tories were in, although they weren't half as malevolent or incompetent as they are now! Romper suits were in for babies too, which led to many embarrassing black and white photos!!!
