The landscape of football has significantly changed from what it once was. The influence of money has become overwhelmingly prominent, compelling club owners to seek various sources of funding to sustain their operations on a daily basis. So you're saying it doesn't matter who it is, or what it looks like, the money is more important?
I can't agree with you on that point.
Of course the age of the club is relevant, we have history and tradition, and a child's drawing of a cat wouldn't be something our grandfathers would have been proud of.
Copied from club website! You've managed to make that sound significant
I guess crypto is as imaginary as paper money which holds no true value either.
Each to their own![]()
Quality! You should have put on full image though. This is a bigger wind up than the car mat post when we were waiting for Burrows to be announced.
There are people at our club actively taking the piss out of the fans. That is absolutely rancid

Looks like we've got a memecoin as front of shirt sponsor?
Someone is signing these off. That's the worry.I couldn't believe the ugliness when I saw The Star picture... what on earth is the club thinking by allowing an awful logo on the front fo our beloved red and white shirts...........get it off!!
And let's not get started on Randox Health.Just a reminder our first premier league sponsored in 2019 was dodgy too

I don't give two fucks what the logo on the shirt looks like. For what it's worth, I quite like it and I"m secure enough in my masculinity not to feel like having a cartoon cat on the shirt is anything to be embarrassed about.Let me try to explain.
Most people are complaining, not because we have a sponsor, itās the fact that the logo on the shirt looks fā¦.. ridiculous.
If it was to be ironed on to a onesy for a 5 year old girls birthday party, it would be fine.
But,we are a professional football club, and no one in their right minds can think this is anything but an absolute joke, of a logo, that should be nowhere near a club like ours.Even the local Dog and Duck would get pelters for putting that on their shirts.
We at least get the option, not to have the ridiculous thing put on our replica shirts.Pity our poor players who will have to run out at Elland Road,Turf Moor etc, with a kidās pussycat drawing on their shirts, to the inevitable pisstakes from the home fans. They looked absolutely thrilled to be wearing it(not) on the video.I shudder to think how Souttarās gonna look in one, and would have liked to have seen his reaction, when he first saw it.
The clubās branding, and shirt, should be iconic, and does matter, as it does to all multi million pound businesses, who usually have the good sense to protect it, as a business strategy. We on the other hand appear to,not give a shit about it,so long as it brings in a few quick quid.
All I'd say if those wendies knew anything about the history of Sheffield club badges they would be embarrassed doing thatDidn't take Wendy long

If they'd done the sponsor in the background, too, I'd have given this an 11/10
But it is funny thoughAll I'd say if those wendies knew anything about the history of Sheffield club badges they would be embarrassed doing that
