Wat's it got to do with McCabe anyway? I thought Birch and Steer called the shots these days??

We have a great opportunity to establish a football team. One to be proud of that isn't despised throughout the land; One that plays this beautiful game as it should be played.

Anyone whose presence at the club is inconsistent with this imperative must go: Players and Management alike.

I needn't name names.

P.S. This is not a reply to Highbury! Blame my iPhone.

Time to  Football.

^^^^^^^^

Word for Word.

Football has evolved. We haven't. Time to start playing catch up.

UTB.

Problem is I dont trust McCabe to appoint the right man to take us forward.

If he sacks MA the next words I want to hear is that Birch is in charge if the recruitment and McCabe will back his staffs decsion.

KM has overseen a fair few appointments and his success rate isn't good, so delegate that responsibility.

Ok then Bob, How many appointments has he overseen and which, at the time were the bad ones?

You think Robson, Blackwell, Speed and Adams have been good appointments?

He backed the first two massively and they failed, Speed left after a couple of months and Adams hasnt had an impact.

Agree, Bob. As we all know, football is a business and the manager is a key appointment - a sort of Sales/Marketing and Recruitment Director.
So what was on Robson's CV that possibly inspired any confidence in his past performance? Blackwell, although getting close to bringing in that big order, always fell just short. Speed? Past experience? And Adams? 'Yes, I've had considerable experience with Joe Bloggs Ltd. I think I'd be a ideal choice to head up a multi-national business.'

Who researches these people pre-interview? Background checks on behaviour (Robson) and past performance? And who sanctions the possibility of a massive payout even if the performance is lamentable?
