Absolutely shocking again. No players on there who can come on and change a game. I cannot for the life of me understand why Thomas and Hanson aren't on there. At the minute it's impossible to have a plan b with the players wilder is picking. Hanson caused that defence all sorts of trouble last season (a bit like madine did to ours today if I'm honest), so surely worth having on for the last 15 to 20 minutes when we are pressing and going long. Wilder doesn't make many mistakes, but in my opinion this is a weakness of his.

The bench is poor yes, but I don’t think two players who’ve barely played a minute between them all season are going to improve it currently

I am intrigued as to why Thomas can’t get a look in mind you

Thomas is this seasons Chris Hussey.

Bye Thomas.

Didn’t Hussey actually play before he was written off?

True, I think Chris played 7 times or so and Thomas has played just the 1 match.

It is now midway through the season. As I said "Bye Thomas."

Frustrating as it is, its not like we haven't had a good bench this season. So it is partly down to circumstances of having a small squad.

As for players to change a game, Carruthers and Lavery should be able to change a game, however i think we'll see at least Lavery sent on loan. Carruthers came on to do just that but seems unable to come in and change games.

However, I think you're being harsh. Given that in the two previous games Baldock and Donaldson scored and both came from the bench yesterday, this would suggest that they're more likely to give us something than Hanson, a player who's hardly featured at all this season.

Sadly Brooks is out with illness, otherwise the last few games would've been ideal for him to make an impact.

I agree that recent weeks highlights the need to bring in additional players.

Think Thomas doesn’t really suit the formation we don’t play with a winger .
However it’s strange he hasn’t been given a chance , yesterday was a perfect opertunity

Wilder does switch to 4-4-2 sometimes so I don’t get why Thomas wouldn’t be on the bench for that.

There's far too much belief in Evans ability to provide something he's only ever delivered during one season in Division 1.

I'd love to see Evans produce the type of form that we all remember from his last spell with the Blades. Trouble is, there's an unrealistic expectation about Evans' ability to suddenly morph into the player who had one brief, glorious season as a Blade many years ago. I'd love to be wrong, but it's wishful thinking based on little more than fantasy and desperation.
