I’ve been out tonight with a few locals who suggest a load of pigs arrived on Sunday night around 8. Ended in big brawl on Ecclesall Rd, doors locked and no beer served. Pigs got their deserts. BUT suggestions is they only came to The Banner looking for Sir Chris.

These are mature men in their 60s who have no reason to lie.

So is this true and this is what piggies get up to or are my friends wildly mistaken?

No idea
Can't see it being true though,
They don't venture much further than Chapeltown, Stocksbridge and High Green with a trip into the big city (Hillsborough) only occasionally

They like to hang around in areas where they will be the majority so they can all spaff one out about how massive they are

Not sure as CW has a few pig mates who were/are "OCS".

Could be true as its still avoiding town 😀

It’s amazing that things like this happen* and there’s absolutely no mention of it for several days.

*Don’t happen?

A couple of pigs passed us at Hunters Bar heading that way at about 7. Exchanged a few verbals, but hardly mob handed (2 of them and about 10 of us), unless they came in dribs and drabs.

Doubt it though as it’d have surely been reported by now?

The only trouble I saw all day was outside the park hotel. A few fisty cuffs and a 50 year old guy told to eff off home and grow up by the police. The vast majority of Wendy fans I bumped into had a good hearted chat with me, a bit of banter and most said enjoy the game. I think people are trying to find something as it was a pretty quiet day, trouble wise.

I’m just imagining a load of out of shape, bald men clambering up Ecclesall Road in their Stoney jackets. Isn’t the Rising Sun in Fulwood Chris’s boozer of choice? Seen him in there many times before with his pals.

He was in the hotel after the game. I doubt that a bunch of pigs would make the journey across the city to the Banner Cross to confront Wilder after losing to us. What would they say if they confronted him? It sounds like bollocks to me.

Can you imagine a bunch of Blades going out looking for Herr Sausage if we lost to them? I can't.

No, because we have ‘class’ 😉.

No. Well i’d hope not. It would be very pathetic, no matter what side. Just made me chuckle. Judging by some of Wilder’s “drinking pals” by the looks of them I probably wouldn’t attempt it.

Was told this too. My son goes in alot as his mate works there.

Apparently Wilder was originally going in like last time but rang Sophie up to say he wouldn't be coming due to the possibility of this happening.

Son went in after the game but left early evening so if anything did kick off it was after then.

Maybe this shouldn't be publicly shared, considering allegations that some morons are threatening him.

After how public his singing in The Banner last time out was I honestly can't believe there was a brawl outside or near there after the next match and it hasn't been reported anywhere or been on social media somewhere.

Maybe, but then again if Wilder is ‘in there all the time’ then at what point is that just common knowledge publicly anyway?

I get the point, but at what point does something like that become common knowledge? When people discuss it, presumably.

Alan Biggs will have an article all about it in The Star, evening edition 28th October 2031.

You’re sadly, probably right. It isn’t like he’s hidden away, but that Pittsmoor cunts rant on Sunday might influence their more brain dead faction. Foxy probably worth deleting.

Not a criticism, just to be on the safe side. Sad really, yeah.

Just like most of their nonsense it gets repeated that much that it becomes “fact” and then before you know it they are arranging an Anniversary dinner to celebrate.

Does anyone know. The story behind the part of Wilder's interview where he mentions someone trying to run him over in their car?

It is true, group of them went up eccy rd and to the banner. Obviously people are going to say they went for Wilder but it isn’t true, they were just looking for Blades so I’m told. Obviously didn’t fancy London Rd so went for the easier option which didn’t turn out easy.

At the Banner they get slapped about by normal Blades, as in non hooligan Blades. One pig got took to hospital. There is a few videos kicking about, not a great deal happening on them but shows the pigs jumping about, few blades just stood outside not budging an inch, a pig gets knocked out, punches thrown.. pigs come off second best, thats about it.
