To me it just seems like a simple mistake from the keeper and not intentional at all. We won the game, O’Hare’s fine. Let’s move on.
There's nothing in the rules about "intent". A dangerous tackle is a red card. I imagine there's no intent involved in the vast majority of red cards for tackles.People are so one-eyed it's astonishing. The keeper makes himself big and reacts to the chip. It all happens instantly. No malicious intent at all. And why not bring up McCallum's elbow in the first that "should have been a red"?
It is no wonder the refs are always shit since they apparently work for all teams.
Video from behind the goal. On Ipswich vlog make sure even clearer it was bad.
At 12 mins on here
Anyone know what the problem was with Ipswich players at half time seemed to be after Sydie Peck at half time ?
He's quietly feisty is Sydie which i like! Will make a good captain.
Wilder will know this a player that won't be bullied.
As I said he's at bit feisty not in a kick anything that moves way ! In a Michael Brown way who got under the skin of the opposition who usually respond in an unprofessional way. When their lad was feigning injury just as the whistle went at half time some words were said to their player and it kicked off a bit. Peck obviously said something that got under their skin a bit.![]()
Very dangerous...just sayin'How was 'dangerous' an understatement? What else should I have said?
“Get up ye fukin pig.” If my lip reading skills serve me well. When their lad was feigning injury just as the whistle went at half time some words were said to their player and it kicked off a bit. Peck obviously said something that got under their skin a bit.![]()
Yes. Although he used that situation of further evidence of poor game management from the referee.Wasnt Wilder also booked for complaining about it ?
Although I don’t like the NFL style voice over from referees, it does help to clarify why a particular card is given. The yellow could have been given for either denying an obvious goal scoring offence, the goal was scored so it is downgraded from red to yellow or it could have been the severity of the challenge, reckless (yellow) or excessive force (red). Either way without knowing the reason it is difficult to judge, in my opinion the latter should have meant it was a red card, no excuses for that one. There's nothing in the rules about "intent". A dangerous tackle is a red card. I imagine there's no intent involved in the vast majority of red cards for tackles.
The keeper was reckless and kicked someone in the head. Compare it to Soumare's red where there was no intent and wasn't even particularly reckless, he was trying to pass to ball and caught the opposition player.
For some reason keepers are a protected species and can pretty much do as they please knowing they'll probably win a free kick at the end of it.
The keeper takes a look at O'Hare long after the ball has gone? The gap between shot and collision is less than one second Too many people looking at this incident with their red and white specs on.Seen a lot of debate about this
From my point of view the keeper has a little look at o hare ( long after the ball has gone ) and lifts his leg up in a kind of instinctive protective way
It's intentional but wether it's malicious or not I don't know , the keeper could have easily just not done it but I think he knew he would get away with it and it was a bit snide
Would love a cartoon print of it - Sydie with his arm around Tom Davies laughing at someone in a blue shirt on the floor with Hirst on the back - absolute gold!!When their lad was feigning injury just as the whistle went at half time some words were said to their player and it kicked off a bit. Peck obviously said something that got under their skin a bit.![]()
Watch the view from the kop end mate. The keeper takes a look at O'Hare long after the ball has gone? The gap between shot and collision is less than one second Too many people looking at this incident with their red and white specs on.
