A sad reflection of the joke club we have become.

A complete disgrace to the once proud name of SUFC.

Same applies to Cresswell - completely pathetic.

Cert pen and red card for them in last 5 mins.

Basically, the announcer was a bit cringeworthy... Though I found the rallying cry from the otherwise engaged Mr Sinclair a little more daft.

Oh, and Cressy headed over the bar instead of the back of the net like last time, therefore he's a pathetic drain on society, even after taking a large cut in wages when he could have sat it out on much more. Apparently a complete disgrace.

His final attempt to win a free kick off Sodje was a little poor though, I'll give him that.

I think that's the issue, not the missed chance. Cresswell is constantly looking for free kicks, probably because he hasn't got the energy to beat a player, probably because he's inherently a cheat.

Don't like cheaters and divers, don't like to see one in red and white.

Anyone else a disgrace today whilst attempting to do their jobs?

I don't like to see Cresswell attempt to manufacture free-kicks either to be honest. However, the referee made it very, very clear that any attempt he made to win the ball would be punished, so he kind of stooped to Sodje's level.

There were 4 or 5 challenges minimum which he simply won the ball and was penalised. The one on the left wing near to the end was an absolutely shocking decision, he simply kicked the ball out of play, no where near touching the man.

As I understand it Cresswell got another extension to his contract though, which was due to run out in June 2013. I appreciate that he's getting less money this season, hence it being technically correct to say that he's taken a pay cut. But will United in total pay him less money?

If what I've been told is correct, yes, in total United will pay him less money.

He just wants to keep being involved and is a little more old school than many would have him down as.
 
How Cressy becomes the fall guy for the performance that we have just seen is beyond me.

Problem is, if you don't want a professional footballer who from time to time "wins" a free kick, then we'll struggle to put an XI out.

I don't like it either, but just about every time he played fairly today he was punished.

Unfortunately that's true, and is one of the main reasons why football holds so little interest for me these days. I'll always be a Blade, that's more than football but todays game just isn't sport any more.
 
I'm not Sinclair's biggest fan, but you don't half notice he's not there when the other amateurs step in. Couldn't really hear what was going on anyway due to the rubbish PA system.
 
Better get used to it anyway, Mr Sinclair isn't gonna be back for another couple of matches.

Watching a different game to me. He lunges in for ludicrous challenges which gets the clappers all excited because he is seemingly showing effort but it doesn't pull the wool over the eyes of people like Princess.

I cannot recall him winning owt of note in the air - could barely get off the ground the useless old chuff. Really ruins my da seeing him still turning out for my beloved club.

announcer at half time "come on United fans get behind the team there's 3 points at stake here" cringe. Sounded like a Colonel Blimp.

Also saw some prat with a big belly and huge inflatable shoes dressed as a pirate wearing a hat and carrying a fake sword walking round having his photo taken with fans outside the ground. It's all cringeworthy.

You've forgot the Chips and Gravy that i had from the refreshment kiosk at the back of the kop when i felt a bit peckish halfway through the first half. Not enough Chips, not cooked in Beef Dripping, and lumpy gravy.
 
I didn't go today , I didn't check the score every 2 minutes and I don't feel like I want to slit my throat.....oh and I wish Mr McWobbleGob would just go.
 
I can beat that, at half past two in the Ticket Office, they ran out of tickets. Not the "tickets", the f***ing paper. The young lass did apologise. The clubs in meltdown

Oh and at about 2-40 pm The announcer said " There's a very very special person coming to the ground in 5 minutes, you should all get back to your seats now, because there's a very very special person coming" I wondered who this could be so I "returned to my seat" Who turns up 15 minutes later, good old Monty
