There are times when all of us get annoyed at something the club has done.

Perhaps it was in relation to a manager? Perhaps the manager insisted on sticking with a player you thought was NGE*? Perhaps you think we should have signed a player who eventually, went on to do sod all? Or maybe you were all for a player's arrival at the club only to find out that they were poo?

Air your confessions here my faithful brothers and sisters and the footballing Gods will forgive your errors.

* Garth Crooks is a nob... :)

I apologise for labelling Chris Morgan a 'thug' and stating that we should get rid of him. His form since the debacle of the Derby has been nothing short of excellent.

I was wrong.

For throwing the odd tantrum over the Cotterill Signing.

I realise the error of my ways Sir blackwell. :(

I'm sorry i said 'our gerts' arse looked big in her LBD..............especially cause she heard me. ;)

admit i was wrong, i am pretty much everytime. i just argue the toss and lead myself to believe it more :D

i was wrong to think the south stand would be no smoking

but i'm soooo glad......the half time ciggy is always needed :)

I have not got anything to admit i was wrong about, so i guess this thread is not for me.

Although i did state quite clearly before the season started that Ugo Ehiogu was too old, too slow and a crock and it was a waste of time having him in the squad!

I admit I was wrong to sign up to this forum! I thought it was a piss bag help forum! :D:D:D

And I was wrong to kick Ross at forum footy......but he kicked me first!

So there!

I admit I was wrong about how we would miss Tonge and that we'd regret it.

I see that on his one and only start for Stoke he scored 3.....

...out of 10 in a post-match newspaper report.

I admit I was wrong about Hendrie, I thought he was shit, now I realise he's fucking wank and I should've arranged the hit and run a long time ago.

May I ask how you've come to this judgement on this season's showing?

He scored against Port Vale before having to leave the field with injury. He came on against Norwich and was extremely unlucky and ridiculously blamed for the defeat before being squared up to by his captain and he came on for Speed at Arsenal in a game where we were already 5-0 down.

He probably isn't going to get in the team but isn't "fucking wank" a little harsh?

I assume that's based on seeing regular poor performances?

I think his time at the lane is numbered due to our current squad, but I'd personally say he's a very talented player when he wants to be.

true, but he doesn't want very often IMO

Saying that we haven't exactly got a quality midfield and he still can't get in the team speaks volumes.

He was shit last season and he's obviously doing nothing this season to get in the team. So how can he be quality. So he played a decent game pre-season againt a shit team.

NO other team wanted him after Stoke, NO other team have come in for him whilst he's been stuck on the sidelines, so you tell me how such a quality player can't get a game.

I think you're living in the past, Maradona was one of the best players ever, but doesn't mean he's still good now.

Face it, you just don't like anything bad said about anything to do with SUFC. Sometimes I think Peter Mandleson is writing some of the responces I read.

There's criticising someone justifiably and there's coming on here to be purposefully antagonistic stating that someone is "fucking wank".

Many people can see the difference and have respectful disagreements and propose decent arguments.

But if a proliferation of swearing constitutes your kind of argument, might I suggest this isn't the place for it?

He played more than just 1 decent game pre-season, he's also played in the reserves and a few mins here and there in the first team.

Leicester did. One of the main problems with everyone will be his wages and lack of first team appearances. I'm not saying he should get a game, I'm saying he's not "fucking wank" and is very talented when he wants to be.

I think you're living in the past, Maradona was one of the best players ever, but doesn't mean he's still good now.

I'm talking about my opinion having seen him fairly recently. Of course that's living in the past, I haven't seen him play for a number of weeks now. When was the last time you saw him play?

Face it, you just don't like anything bad said about anything to do with SUFC. Sometimes I think Peter Mandleson is writing some of the responces I read.

What exactly are you on about? I'm merely saying in my opinion a player isn't "fucking wank" and asking how you've formed that opinion.

I say plenty bad about SUFC myself, you saying a player is "fucking wank" is nothing to me, nor do I feel the need to defend SUFC because of it... I'm just passing my opinion on a player, apologies for that

Do you not think you're hanging onto the phrase 'fucking wank' a little too much. if I changed it too 'not good enough' would that be OK?

OK we'll go down an alternate reason for why he shouldn't be at this club.

COMMITMENT

He hasn't got any, like you said, he's good when he wants to be. Fact is he doesn't want to be, he can't be. If he's half as good as you're making out why can't he get in the team. Cos he can't be arsed, he's a lazy twat who isn't good for any team let alone UTD.

Every other player in the squad (who was here with Robson) has shown that they have the commitment to the team, have shown it in there performances, and how many different people have been given a chance and managed to keep their place due to their commitment to the team.

End of the day I think he's fuckin wank, a lazy waste of time who doesn't deserve to be paid a penny from UTD. Only my opinion though.

But where does it show that he isn't committed to the club? All I can see is that he went out on loan and when questioned, said he would stay there for first team football.

Derek Geary is a player who can't get in the team. Does that mean he isn't committed?

I've said elsewhere (Rumour Mill) that he's unlikely to get into the team with the midfield he has in front of him and he was injured at the time he could've probably taken his chance. His performance at Norwich wasn't shocking but deservedly, other players are in front of him.

I just don't see why he deserves the abuse.

It would be perhaps a little more accurate in my opinion... given that the phrase is pretty much the crux of your assessment, I did kinda hang onto it.

OK we'll go down an alternate reason for why he shouldn't be at this club.

Again, what is this opinion based on? During his time in the squad under Robson, who was the player constantly talking to and trying to gee up his team-mates? The player who interacted with the crowd, tried to get them behind the team and fighting for the cause? I'm sure myself it was Mr Hendrie.

As I posted on a previous discussion on Hendrie, filed by you as "one good pre-season game"... the "lazy twat" spent 90 minutes constantly talking to and helping a certain Kyle Naughton. Sprinting back to cover the full back position that Kyle had left open... etc etc

I've seen him do this a number of times and it surprised me at the time from the pre-conceptions I had of him.

Again, re:commitment, I'm not sure how he's shown anything but? other than perhaps stating that he was enjoying his time at Leicester and would make it permanent.

End of the day I think he's fuckin wank, a lazy waste of time who doesn't deserve to be paid a penny from UTD. Only my opinion though.

That's fair enough, I personally think that is pretty harsh and again i'd be interested as to how you've come to that conclusion. Ultimately I also see his future away from the lane. Still, I'm obviously only saying that to stick up for SUFC.

Yours,

Mr Mandelson

I think the problem is with Hendrie is that we are paying him for doing nout and apparently he is on a high wage which doesnt seem fair on the likes of Quinn.

True, but I'm pretty sure the likes of Quinn would rather be playing first team football every week than earning more money and rotting in the reserves.
