I think Clough was/is a good manager who would have brought us success. Adkins on the other hand was a complete shambles - full of flim-flam and clueless as they come. It's the best thing we ever did getting rid of him. But they shouldn't have fired him in the way they did. They should have made him a human cannonball and fired the bugger out of the barrel of a cannon as part of the half time entertainment.

Wilder - it's early days yet and I'd like to remain neutral for a bit longer so I can come on here and slag him off along with the rest of you at some point in future. But all the initial signs are positive. Open and honest - not afraid to take tough decisions - demanding of the players - signed well (although not all his signings will work out - but he's building is a team that is better suited to getting out of this league than we've had for some time).

I think I might like him.

Nowt wrong with his tactics at Bolton. Not sure there's been much wrong with them at all tbh. I don't think tactics have cost us any points - just poor performances from some players.

It's improving for sure and confidence is a big factor. We're doing ok! We must find a new whipping boy though if Wilder isn't going to be it? Why not blame Captain Blade? He's useless and has brought us no luck whatsoever. Get rid and bring back Bertie Blade - we had a good team back then!

That long ball game he employed against Rochdale and Southend was very unlike Wilder.
But he's put things right like I new he would.
