That's something Woy hums to himself now he is in The Priory recovering .

We lost to a side playing a defensive formation at home. Again unfortunately we start a season not firing on full cylinders .

Difference is , Wilder knows the short falls as much as we do , and will do something about it.

The only disappointment to me yesterday is that we didn't batter Howard and make him very uncomfortable .

Nasty professional streak still not there , which surprises me . That was the downside .

I think the problem is this statement needs rewriting.

"Wilder knows the shortfalls as much as we do, however it is unlikely that he will be given the resources to do anything about it"

We're going go end up with another huge negative net spend again (approximately £1.5million) instead of reinvesting that into the first team to plug the glaring gaps.

I believe that Adkins knew the deficiencies, I also believe that to be true for Clough. However, our club is so reluctant to gamble on a manager that they won't be given a bit of freedom to make a real go for it and sign some quality players. I suspect we pretty much have the squad that will be there for this season, perhaps 1 more addition before September if we are lucky.

Hope you are wrong with that ones. Did we as a club fuck Clough and Adkins or did they fuck themselves . Perhaps a bit of both .

I know Wilder is working to a budget and does have to sell before he can buy .

The squad as it stands is not a promotion or play off quality . He may well be given a lot more leeway than previous managers by McCabe & Co.

If he doesn't get the backing , he might as well call it a day ,
