United were entertaining at both ends of the pitch today. We were second to every cross into our own box and Howard looked completely unable to deal with the quality of their corners. But at the other end we scored some really great goals and KMac bestrode the pitch gloriously.

We started the game without a left midfielder and were exposed down that side until Flynn was shifted across to fill the role. He went on to have his best game for the club (at least that I've witnessed). Never gave the ball away, worked tirelessly, scored twice, and changed the game. He's not the flying winger people call for, but he's a proper footballer. You can see his Liverpool academy upbringing in how he plays - if he had explosive pace he'd play far higher up the leagues.

Cofie looked exactly what we thought him to be. Raw, but with an x-factor moment in him every now and again. Blackman is also young, but showed he has the attributes to become a very good player. Cress then came on and showed his nous.

Felt a bit for McAllister who played out of position on the right when, to me, he's always looked best breaking from midfield. Whilst in defence we had one of those days we saw now and again last season.

All in all - great fun.

Howard - 5 - Looked smaller than his height.
Hill - 6 - Left to fend for himself for 20 mins but had a decent game overall.
McMahon - 6 - Equally solid.
Maguire - 5 - Not his best.
Collins - 5 - The same.
Doyle - 5 - Not as good as we've come to expect.
KMac - 7 - A class above.
Flynn - 8 - 2 goals and an assist.
McAllister - 5 - filled in as best he could.
Blackman - 6 - Nice pen. Surely so much more to come.
Cofie - 6 - Wonder goal (was it deflected) and nearly did it twice.

Cress - good nut

Ref - No complaints. We're an easy team to referee these days.

Bournemouth - Had some good attacking flurries. Played decent football and caused panic every time they got the ball in the box. Not sure if they'll be a threat on that showing. Plenty to like, but then we stuck five past them without Quinn or Evans or Lowton or Willo.....

Not a bad game from the bits that i saw, when i was not attempting to control, or keep my recalcitarent 3 year old son entertained.

He enjoyed the 5 goals though, and joining in the Tom Hark celebrations.

Quality entertainment. Shocking defending, but we took our chances so you can't complain! Anybody know why Radio Sheff had no Wilson interview? I only listenend to 5 mins and they said they weren't speaking to him.

What a great game of football that was, no can argue that they didn't get their money's worth today.

Going forward today, we looked awesome and realistically, we could have had double figures. Defensively, we were all over the place at times and the usually solid pairing of Collins and Maguire looked shaky.

Lots of positives from today for me. MacDonald was fantastic, Flynn played his best game so far for us and each striker weighed in with a well deserved goal, Cofie's strike alone was worth the price of a season ticket.

Get the defence sorted Danny and we`ll be ok.

5 goals is great, 3 points is just what the doctor ordered but please let's not start pissing ourselves and please let's not start goading fans who aren't all trembly legged just because we won a game at home.

Excellent entertainment and a Blades victory, plenty of negatives too but not a day for bemoaning the club, let's just enjoy the day because there's not a lot to shout about right now.
