That red

For any of you thinking it's a definite red (and I'm included in that), just take a look at the EFL hits program on sky q (prob can see it online too).

There's quite a close up of it....I actually don't think it's a red looking at the close up.

He's tried to nick it, the player has took the ball to his right and he's caught his foot.

I actually think the contact is minimal. Deffo not as bad as I first thought last night.

It’s a partly subjective view based on how the ref saw it and how he interpreted what happened with reference to the laws of the game.

The only relevant interpretation is that of the ref. He gave a red, I don’t think we’re going to appeal so the records will say it’s a red, whether you, I or anyone else thinks different.

If it’s even slightly debatable we’ll appeal – we’d be foolish not to. However if based on all the evidence Wilder is still of the view it’s a red (and he was pretty clear in his interview that he thought it was) then we can put this to bed as not some sort of wrong to be righted.

Whether there was much contact or not... why the fuck would you come off your feet near the half way line when their player is going no where and we’re winning 1-0.

If you don’t give the ref a decision to make he can’t make the wrong one.

In real time I thought it was a stupid tackle and a red card. The ref got one real time view to make his decision.

I'd appeal it anyway ,puts it back a bit then doesn't it ?
