Lundstram has been offered a contract. He hasn't signed as he thinks he deserves more. He has subsequently been placed on the transfer list. Nobody has bid for him, but he's still the best player for that position in our squad.

It’s a great height the perfect distance for a keeper to dive and save it

Agree. The great Bill Shankly stated that you are only as good as your last game. Yes, last season was incredible and yes we have worked miracles in the last 3 years but the onus is to keep building and improving. Yes it is only game 2, but this is now 5 premier league defeats on the spin. Villa are pants and they made us look ordinary. So applying the Bill Shankly test, make no bones about it, we are in trouble. Berge must be regretting his decision to come to this club. Lundstram is not as good as he would have you believe. He had a purple patch last season but that is all.

Like I said in my earlier post, Billy and Didzy have taken far worse penalties and there was nowhere near this backlash.

We’re up against it as soon as Egan gets sent off for me. I don’t even think anyone has played badly tonight. Egan has dropped us in the shit....again. To blame Lunny is complete lunacy
