Two mistakes, two conceded goals. Now don't get me wrong, I like Femi Seriki but the two times he switched off, it gifted them their goals. One he leaves his man with five yards of space in the box, the other one he gifts them a throw in and it leads to a goal. Definitely needs to work on that, plus his falling down to try and win free kicks isn't great so maybe cut that out as well.

We played ok tonight, should never have lost that game but in good old, time served tradition we go and fucking blow it. God knows how many chances we missed, and no matter how you dress it up, their player took a swing at the ball and missed it near the end, tripped Campbell and it's not given? Give me a fucking break, I hate diving more than anyone but that wasn't one.

Other than that like I say, we didn't deserve to lose but if you're playing FRANK LAMPARDS Coventry that's what you'll get. Oh and their keeper going down with exactly 10 minutes left, apparently cramping up so they can have a team talk? Fuck me, New rule should be that you play on and if the other team scores, well make sure you get more fucking liquid on board next time because that's fucking cheating.

Hate Coventry, it's an irrelevant city full of irrelevant people. Hope they go up because with that squad they'll get heavily bummed every week and that will be a joy to savour.

It was the way Seriki conceded the throw in that fucked us. Just set off running down a blind alley, ran it into touch and the quick throw had us running round like headless chickens. A really poor goal to concede yet again.

He actually back-heeled it to them, continuing his forward run. So not only did he take himself out of the move, he also sped up their throw-in. Very naive play…

There was a very simple pass back to a centre back and he decided to run down the line. Hopefully a lesson learned for him.

Almost worked a few times but probably contributed to a knackered Femi losing focus. He does do a lot of running.

I would say he got a bit unlucky on their second, or rather they got lucky that the cross took a slight defelection off Soumare's head which was just enough to change the trajectory so it perfectly went over Tanganga and onto Rudoni's head. Without Soumare's flick Tanganga easily heads that away.

If a player tires or loses focus , it's on Wilder to notice it and hook him - another example of Wilders lack of ability to adapt during a game.

Neither Tanga nor Binden were close enough to the scorer - he was midway between them , begging the question of whose man he was - piss poor schoolboy defending.
For the money , Tanga has not been the Souttar replacement we needed and Millwall haven't missed him in the slightest this season.

Once Peck , Blaster , Seriki , Brooks & McCallum get picked up by clubs who recognise their potential , they will receive proper coaching to polish out their defects and become the finished article - I really don't think they are getting that at the Lane.
And once all the loanees return to their parent clubs , we'll have about three and a half Championship players left.

Theres obviously some luck in the art of blocking - but being able to put more distance between the shot, the blocking defender, and goal clearly improves the chances of doing so and Coventry managed to keep a lot of our shots to the edge of the area.

At the point of the cross the CBs are reasonably well-positioned but Tanganga takes a step toward the ball just before Soumare's flick which takes it over him and Rudoni who hasn't committed himself towards the ball is able to nip in behind Tanganga and head home. Bindon can't really take the blame either as he's watching Haji-Wright. I'd say most of the fault lies with how much time and space he had to swing the cross in, but the deflection was definitely unlucky from our POV.
