The arrogance on Owlstalk is incredible, the general consensus being that they are going to wipe the floor with us and we will be given a reality check.

I'm sick of hearing this bollocks about a reality check / get a shock / woken up etc from their side.

We're playing them for the first time in a long time in a league they've been settled in for a while. Of course we're the underdogs, so why the fuck would it be a wake up call?

"Hey United, just in case you're fuck stupid this weekends result alone will show you the standard of football is higher as this is a higher league. The other games you play in this league are of no consequence."

They're at a point now where they're shitting themselves about potentially drawing or losing to a newly promoted side, doesn't exactly instil confidence in your team for the season does it? Maybe it's because they simply aren't as good as they think they are, and anything other than a win for them this weekend would reinforce that to their fanbase.

I personally hate it when we decide to put Sheff United into the song. The only time i ever hear us sing it is at Hillsborough. It's cringey and embarrassing and kind of puts us on their level. All my life in Sheffield, they've been the team to use the song. Let them have it, i don't want to associate myself with that monstrosity of a song!

Where ever i go an it's played it reminds me of them and how sad and pathetic of a club they are!

Swinging a pig on the other hand is different and i will be singing that on Sunday.
