Target him big time tomorrow night, JLT bombing them in from both sides from minute one. Gibbs White whipping in every corner amd free kick.

Those long throws against Samba are one of the big reasons I’d be optimistic about forest not being too sure about sitting in and hitting us on the counter attack.

They should already be at Wembley, our players will be thinking it’s probably their last 90 minutes before the summer, might as well just go for it.

I think it's been said elsewhere, but I wish Robinson could keep his throws a bit lower, even if it means slightly less overall distance. At the moment, they loop up too high, and give the keeper every chance to get in the right place to catch it. The best long throws that we've had were from Vinnie Jones, which whizzed along at head height - almost like a whipped corner.

Yeah we were bang opposite the penalty box and he was moaning to the Linesman about our players all the time yet they didnt even challenge him properly. He was also the one who instigated their time wasting from 20 minutes onwards.

Every ball he came and claimed was a badly judged floated cross into the box or a long throw usually so far ahead of our players that he was unchallenged. If he can’t do that for 90 minutes, he’s no business putting the gloves on.

When the chips were down he made a huge error of judgement that fortunately gifted us a lifeline, he may be suspect or it may have been a one off, but we’ll need to put him under pressure first, to find out and I’m not sure we’ve got the personnel to do that?

He's shown in other matches that he doesn't have a great temperament when someone winds him up. This would be perfect for Sharp, but I doubt we'll see him sadly.

He also came out and missed the Fleck corner that Egan headed, with the ball cleared off the line. He very nearly cost them 2 cheap goals.
You beat me to it. Both times he had to come and try and claim the ball in a congested six yard box he made a complete hash of it and we should have scored twice as a result. The rest of the time the crossing was poor and as a decent second-tier keeper he was able to deal with it.

Agreed on Vinnie, when it was "in fashion" when Stoke were doing it all the time with Delap. The Kyle's were good at launching the ball in more so Walker

I said this on Sat. Someone should be in there winding him up. Already had a straight red this season for his antics.

...except the corner that we scored from, inside the six-yard box. :)
Indeed. He was fine collecting shit crosses unchallenged. The 2 half decent crosses he missed by miles, leading to the goal and a goal line clearance. Even the throw he caught at the back post could have been bundled in. I agree with the OP.

Need to surround him more and block him off as we did for the goal. When he gets a clear run he's quite commanding and took a lot of high balls at the weekend, but seen quite a few Forest fans saying that the goal we scored at the death is one of his weaknesses. It's a shame Sharp isn't playing as he's very good at it, but Ndiaye is doing a decent job deputising for him in that department and it's something we need to go for tomorrow with any set pieces.

Egan has come close to scoring in the last two games now - surely he's due one of them going in?!

Vinnies werent funny though, step up my man, Nozzer...

Starts off by confidently waving everyone back to the other side of pitch, checks his eyebrows to make sure they look weird, takes a massive run up, explodes in to a sprint only just manages to halt at the line, starts violently thrashing his hips around in a hula hoop motion to build up momentum, releases the ball one handed from knee height adding spin, swerve and a sonic boom. Ball just about rolls to a stop at the first man, sometimes that first man was one of our players! A class act sorely missed 😔

Spot on , said the same on Sat , less on distance more on trajectory

His distribution was better than all of our midfielders on Saturday. He played some cracking balls out from the back. I can see why Forest fans love him, he’s eccentric but a decent keeper.

I want the spirit of the Boro match for this game. We were unstoppable that night. I’m sure Hecky will be maximising on every single weakness in the Forest ranks.

I dont know why Robinson doesn’t throw it into an area around the penalty spot, instead of down the keepers throat. Or maybe even the edge of the box for someone to head it into the six yard box, like Norwoods deep corners, when Egan drops off and heads it back across goal?

And if we hadn’t scored it was a stone-wall penalty for his blatant push as the ball came in from the corner

When you looked close they had some weaknesses. Decent and well organised, yes , but a few of them where just hoof monsters in defence, ball landed anywhere and few times dropped lucky for them. Let's get at them and hope we get that lucky bounce, we deserve a bit of luck or maybe a dodgy pen.
This is our time! UTB
