That’s it Wilder’s gone!

This would be far more sensible a move than than Sunderland. I hope Villa look abroad.

Wouldn't be a surprise if they approached the club to speak to CW

His stock is high and they are now managerless

Hope not tho

Wilder would be an obvious choice for Villa. Now a proven manager at this level and the Villa board will have been impressed by our dismantling of them the other week. It will however take more than a dodgy rumour posted by a squealing piglet to get my knickers in a twist.

Billy Sharp for player manager... the campaign starts here.. who’s in?

John Terry will end up in charge there, there is no one better for them than wilder, but they will go for the big name

With respect, I actually have the opposite view.

Wilder has a great reputation in South Yorkshire and amongst football fans outside the PL.
But in business world, especially amongst foreigners he’s a nobody, one of the most unglamorous signings a big ambitious club could make. Remember Wilder has zero experience working with foreign players or working with egos on big salaries. No experience of working in any top league and no experience of coaching top class established named players.

Remember Villa are owned by foreigners and they will want to make a statement signing.
Reckon they are more likely to appoint Thierry Henry or John Terry instead of Wilder.

Another theory is that they are close to FFP rules, so won’t want to pay big compensation,
They are more likely to appoint a manager who is currently out of work.

Another round of “he’s going” or “he’s gone” threads.

Does this mean Wilder gets yet another pay rise?

If either West Brom or Stoke get relegated and don't change manager before the season's end, then I would expect CW would be in the list of managers to speak to in the summer. The same goes for Villa and Boro, if they don't go up. I'm not suggesting that he'd be a shoe-in for any of the jobs, but I would suspect that they would all like to talk with him. Obviously, that's if we don't go up ourselves. :)

I've always seen high synergistic value between Villa & Wilder. :(

View attachment 44828 Another clown on Owlstalk who has “links” to Bramall Lane says Wilders is wanted by Villa and we have a manager lined up the chairman disagree on!

Where do they find these idiots? The lies in that particular thread are unbelievable yet they all just not and agree. There are come particular weird once’s SiJ and the pillock Belfast Owl who calls all blades cowards yet band them because we are now in a better position.
Fire.

Oxygen.

Make the connection !!!
