Another Yorkshireman who couldnt hack the top league.

Will we ever learn?

He won’t be sacked - the Prince won’t get rid
Hecky has come to the end of the road, the fans will not tolerate the no fight, no pride and no passion in this current team. All of those missing traits are on the manager I’m afraid.

Not saying he shouldn’t go - but don’t think the owner will get rid

It’s definitely time to go, but who comes in? Wilder? Warnock? Someone else that’s out of work? We can’t afford to poach someone, and who in their right mind will come? Definitely not that twat Allardyce, although I doubt even he is stupid enough to take it.

There's a way to lose when there is speculation about your job and I'm afraid that wasn't it.

I have some sympathy after the summer and i do prefer long term planning but you can't carry on getting battered every week.

We're not even making it a spectacle.

It feels if Newcastle was putting the lid down, this was the final nail. Even at Arsenal, I don't see how you come back from being so uncompetitive.

He can rightly point to the shortcomings of the Board but he's not getting anything at all out of this bunch, 1 point from 30 with a -22 goal difference says doing the same, same players, same manager, just isn't working and as sad as it is, we just can't change the players so the Prince has only one dice to roll.

Can he afford too?
Yes. Our summer spending was largely offset by the sales of Berge and Ndiaye. Our wage bill is the lowest in the division and lower than some Championship sides. We haven't had to upgrade the stadium to meet Premier League standards like last time, as we only did that four years ago. We don't owe McCabe £50mil anymore. Hecky has three years left on his contract. Even at £1mil per year that's only £3mil to sack him. Yes, we have plenty of money. The reason we haven't spent all of the £130mil we'll earn this season over the summer is because the Prince learned for his mistakes from last time.
