Nailed it,, and his agent has taken that and the associated publicity and made a big deal out of it, and no doubt it was incredibly easy,, John look your a star, look at your name in the papers, look john you have a nick name, Lord Lundstrom, no one else at BL has a nick name,,your a star John, your up there with Hurricane Higgins, Whirlwind White, The Special one, Mourinho,,John you really should be on more money, they are not only taking the piss, but they are holding you back,, the publicity and endorsements I could get for you, just think Lord Lundstrom of West Ham,, Lord Lundstrom seals the deal at Rangers! John we really should protect your nickname, and the image rights,,£££££££££ssAnd the ONLY reason for lord lundstrum was that he was such a nobody, that the official fantasy football website for the Premier league... Didn't know what position he played.

Just like fleck norwood and berge when he playedWe don't. He's been crap this season. There's no escaping it. Dress it up as bullying all you want. When we really needed a RCM he has been dreadful
pommpey
I take your point re: Besic. My simplified view was,Besic had already got past Lundstram on form at that point though, Besic was the one who was hard done by with Berge going straight in at Selhurst Park.
Lundstram's performance levels fell off a cliff a few games before Palace away.
That certainly appears to be the most likely case, but guess we don't know the nature of the offer he was given. I do think football wise, it'll prove to be mistake. Joining Burnley wouldn't be a challeng that would excite me if honest, unless I was signing from a Championship club, but of course that is what we are now!He was a squad player in the Championship, Wilder gave him a go in the EPL and he did well for a few games.
This season he thought he was billy big bollocks and turned down a contract probably too good for him, since then he has been lacking on all fronts.
Thanks for the cameos but you are no Blade, goodbye Lunny, you will regret not signing the contract forever.
Definitely off
What if JOC is leaving and Lundstram has signed a new contract after all?![]()
100%Is that what you think you saw? This season?
Thanks John, now off you fuck.
Pretty sure on this seasons form and commitment, anyone who had him as a potential target, might be looking elsewhere, quite simply there isn't any excuse for his lack of effort, lets be honest, wherever he goes he will not be the highest earner, he has had a golden opportunity to set himself up for life, make a real name for himself, knowing Berge was injured and he was guaranteed a start,, whats he done with that? Sod all ! No man of the match performance, no fight, no dominant midfield performance, no come and get me, more avoid at all costs. That certainly appears to be the most likely case, but guess we don't know the nature of the offer he was given. I think if he'd played well this season/given his all, the fans would still be ok with Lundstram. Hecky may saythe stats prove hs running is good, but we as fans now that he's a shadow of the player he was and just seemed to be coasting this season.
The second point is what annoys me most. Burnley, Norwich, Watford, Newcastle, etc. will see him as a cheap squad filler, ideal for solidifying the midfield in the latter stages of games. That’s not his fault but the situation is symptomatic of what is rotten with football currently and is only going to get worse. My thoughts on the whole Lundstram scenario are simple:
1. He was largely ineffective for most of his time here. So I'm not disappointed to see him go. We can sign better. That's no hate on the lad, it's just the truth.
2. I'm more annoyed at the hypocrisy of modern football, that he will probably be awarded a lucrative contract at a Burnley, Palace or similar - despite being ineffective for us for over a year now, and showing little contribution, defensively or creatively for us this season.
Bang on
Simple Simon says, put your hands on your head.
Simple Simon says, create a goal scoring chance for Brewster.
Ok, let's start again.
Simple Simon says, put your hands on your head...
He's a sell out bastard.
Would also add that if he comes back to the lane for an opposition team next season and gets booed that would be tinpot as fuck so please don't do that.Meh. Hit a nice purple patch at a good time for us and for him from a career standpoint. Didn't do much in the crunch moments because he wasn't really in those games for us. Don't really hate him like some on here. Just feel a bit indifferent about him. He'll be remembered by us mainly for the contract situation and some truly dismal performances this season perfectly encapsulating our downfall. He'll be remembered by outsiders for being a good option on Fantasy Football for a season. Will likely join a half decent Championship side and continue where he left off. If he actually gets a PL contract and continues as a regular/sporadic starter in that league I'll just sit back and say fair fucks, bloke knew he could sell himself all the while.
