Thank you Chris Wilder

The best manager in my time watching the blades the standout moment for me was the slide down the touch line to celebrate with fleck in league 1. What’s hardest isn’t that he’s leaving as he would’ve done eventually one way or the other but that we as a club haven’t built on his work to improve our position or opportunities in the game. Coupled with the knowledge that it’ll therefore be a while before I experience those things with united again. So long Chris and thanks for all the fish.

Yes, well done Chris. Incredible job you have done and one hell of an incredible rise and journey up through the Leagues since leaving Halifax. Fully deserved your success and truly hope that you can come back and prove those (including myself) who wonder if you can reset again to who and where you were 15 months ago wrong. Take some time out, refresh and and learn from this and there is no reason you can't go again.

Fuck off Abdulla just fuck off!
Why ? Ever thought Wilder might be partly to blame for this . If he wasnt a Blade would you be this supportive considering the poor form since lockdown and the negative, turgid football we have been watching this season ?

You could argue he is lucky the prince has been patient with him as other clubs would have sacked him before Xmas.

He will always be an absolute legend, he rescued us from the shit and has given us some of the most exciting times in our history. Under Chris there was a togetherness; fans, players and management were all united and on a journey, a journey very few of us wanted to come to end. The Prince has faced a big test this season and he's failed it miserably.

We are already down, there is absolutely nothing to be gained from this now.
A sad, sad day for the club.

His has the Prince fucked us up ? This might have been instigated by Wilder

Thats the thing, we don't know and probably best to keep our powder dry until we know a bit more.

The timing doesn't make sense though unless something has kicked off in the last day or two.

I take it Hecky is in the dug out for Leicester then?

Anyway Chris, thank you for the Wilder era, and sorry it's come to this.

For everyone you have done.

I hope you return to the Lane sometime soon and get the standing ovation you deserve x

My highlight was the day at Northampton Town when we won promotion and we really felt that we had our club back and identity again.
Ha, the neck to thank him when you were shouting for Big Sam to replace him a couple of months ago.

Gutted is an understatement you don't take a football club on its knees and in three months transform the place the football ethos with nothing but a bucket of coins,
as a club we will be feeling this for years.

Thank you Chris for the best football (including the Curry Woody etc. and John Harris years ) that I have ever seen
It hurt when Bassett went but that was about right this isn't this is much worse

Oh dear your memory is a little hazy.

I never said that. Ever.

Just had a look at the Championship Table. The team that kept their manager from last season 10 points clear. Does it say something?. Probably not but makes some point surely.
I think it says a lot. Very risky move and I believe it would have been better to follow Norwich and Burnley's lead. Burnley were built on the loyalty shown to Dyche and the money and stability the parachute payments and consistency brought.

Thanks for the ride gaffer.

Never nice when a good marriage ends in divorce but, for obvious reasons, the game was up.

Sad. Not even remotely sure this is a good idea as there is very little upside to this decision.

He won’t have ANY problem landing a good job. That statement tells its own story.

A particularly sad day very reminiscent of the day Harry left the club. More than a tad of irony to that !
