Only one team in my opinion

Cooper

Burrows
Mee
Mcguinness
Tanganga
Seriki

Matos
Davies
Peck

Campbell
Ings

Many will be surprised to see no Hamer or Ohare but as much as I hate going back to a back 5, until we get our structure and identity back, I think this is the best we can go with tbh..

Harsh on McCallum, deserves another game IMO. Fans at Hull appreciated his performance alot.

Not sure on McGuinness and Peck either.

Ogbene has been one of our better performers.

Matos has yet to really impress me.

Id be up for trying Ings for O'Hare. Although that could be seen as harsh.

Unless you put hamer in the centre with Peck. O'Hare advanced and then two strikers.

Wilder is stubborn.. he knows we want to see 2 forwards so he will be even more determined to play 1

Cooper, Godfrey, Tanganga, Mee, McCallum, Soumare, Peck, Davies, Hamer, Campbell, Ings.

4-4-2, diamond midfield, no more playing 3 at the back with only 2 competent centre halves and no wing backs

3-5-2 formation
Cooper
Tanganga, Mcguiness, Mee
Ogbene, Matos, Davis, Hamer, McCallum
Campbell, One

I would also think of putting Ogbene up front instead of One and Seriki on the wing

I've had similar thoughts about trying Ogbene next to Campbell.

I think what Wilder likes about Ogbene at RWB is that he has the pace and strength to get forward and defend. (Forgetting his deflection for other weeks goal)

I can't see Wilder changing too much for Saturday. I'd like to see us tweak it a bit though.

I'd quite like, bit harsh on O'Hare but we need results. Feel Hamer behind the strikers centrally could work. ALA Duffy role ish.
Cooper
Tanganga, McGuinness, Mee
Ogbene, Davies, Peck, Burrows/McCallum
Hamer

Ogbene, Hamer
Campbell

No way we go with Campbell and Ings from the start as neither likely to last the full game. That means if we end up chasing the game we end up with One and Cannon. One I am ok with one of the other two but Cannon has had zero impact when coming off the bench.

I get the argument for 2 CFs, but we don't seem to be creating opportunities so this takes someone out of midfield, which in theory then leads to less opportunities being created.

To some extent, I am at the point where the players need to start performing, rather than blaming the formation.

I would want Tom Davies in CM, so potentially going for the side that started against Southampton

................Cooper
Tanganga, McGuinness, Mee
Ogbene, Davies, Peck, Burrows/McCallum
...........Hamer, O'Hare
..............Campbell,

#1----------------Cooper
-----Godfrey*---Mee-----Tanganga
-Seriki ----Peck*---davies---------Burrows
----------------------Hamer
--------------Campbell Ings

*Godfrey if fit only as over lapping rcb would suit him with his pace (if not overlapping dont play)
*peck could easily be replaced with matos / somoure but all 3 are showing poor levels currently.

#2------------Cooper

Seriki Tanganga Mee Burrows

‐-------------Davies Peck*

Ogbene‐-----------‐-------------Hamer

-----------------Campbell Ings

Attacking 442, ings and Campbell to rotate in who drops in to help link play whilst other sits on shoulder and makes run in behind. Also allows 3 to press high at any one time, also overlapping full backs to get crosses in & again peck could easily be replaced with the other 2 take ya pick.

Or try something try 4213 a proper 3 up front close together old fashioned allow full back to provide width.

---------Cooper
Seriki Tanganga Mee Burrows

------------Davies Matos
------------------Hamer
------Ogbene Campbell Barry*

*or ings depending how fit. With Campbell taking up the right side ings central and ogbene right left side.

Think you have nailed the starting 11 there.

He’s had zero impact full stop.

Really like your thinking - add in Hamer and Ohare and we have a good chance - IMO of course

COOPER
TANGANGA - McGUINNESS - MEE
OGBENE - MATOS - DAVIES - McCALLUM
HAMER
INGS - CANNON
60 mins ish - Campbell and One on for the front 2 + Peck on for Davies.

Seriki and O'Hare on late on to add some energy
I love you like a Brother (well , your avatars anyway) but you lost me at CANNON

But the whole idea of having Campbell and ings to start with is that we would be winning and not chasing games. We want to be attacking and go for it. We have Barry to come off bench to play on shoulder as well to throw into mix.

You go with your best players not leave one on bench for just incase, we dont have the squad for that.

That's a sad indictment of professional footballers, when we have to use the term " can't last the full game" anybody would think there in there 40s 😒

What I want:

Cooper
Tanganga - Mee - McGuinness
Seriki - Hamer - Matos - Peck - Burrows
One - Campbell

What I think we’ll see:

Cooper
Tanganga - McGuinness - Mee
Ogbene - Peck - Matos - Burrows
Hamer - O’Hare
Campbell

I’m not too arsed about formation or first 11, I want to see some pace and shots.

This is what I'd like to see as well, on the basis that two of our best performances last season were when we played 4-4-2, in the play-offs.
Granted we had Choudhury, Souza and Moore then, but Davies and Ings are of at least the same calibre.
Unfortunately, I doubt CW will be thinking along the same lines.

I originally put INGS & CAMPBELL but then saw someone post that if it's not going well, we have One and Cannon off the bench to turn the game around.

For that reason i decided to drop Campbell as I don't think he's been great so far (none have). Cannon could learn from Ings and who knows, could form a partnership.
Starting Cannon also gives us the chance to unleash a very very frustrated Campbell in the 2nd half

Id like to see obgene & seriki combo, get it right it could be similar to leeds fullback wingers last season.
