Chesterfield lose tomorrow their gd will just about relegate then as 46 points is their max and they are way behind 5th bottoms gd

Coventry need divine intervention
48 points upwards look reasonably safe
Bury are far from safety 1 win covers 18th to 22nd

15 Northampton 42 -7 51
16 Charlton 42 0 50
17 Oldham 42 -13 48
18 Bury 42 -13 46
19 Shrewsbury 42 -16 46
20 Gillingham 42 -18 46
21 Port Vale 41 -19 45
22 Swindon 42 -17 43
23 Chesterfield 42 -27 37
24 Coventry 42 -28 35

it could be teams that ran us close in play offs recently could fill all 4
chesterfield swindon , gillingham and coventry

shows that good leadership is everything

strange how wednesday played already relegated wycombe in their last league one home game
and we get to play league two Chesterfield

The Spireites and Coventry have relegation all wrapped up. Winning all their games would almost certainly not save them, and since Tahn have to come to the Lane on the last day they are certainly not going to get maximum points.

Swindon showed plenty of fight last month against the Blades and won't be throwing in the towel just yet. Port Vale have a stinker of a match tomorrow and with players injured are odds on to be beaten by the Mighty Blades.

Oldham can pretty much save themselves by beating Bolton on their tip at Boundary Park on Saturday, as I suspect they will. Bury, Shrewsbury and Gillingham all seem determined to drag it out till the last second of the season so that their fans can suffer right to the end. If I were a betting cat I'd say it's going to be Coventry, Chesterfield, Vale and Gillingham for the drop.

Gillingham will go down IMO. Would've been a big surprise at the start of the season.

Then it's probably Port Vale or Swindon. Vale have hard games - us and Bolton at home then 3 tricky away games.

Swindon shouldn't be going down with the quality they've got but they have piss poor management and insist on gifting teams goals every week.

Swindon are the team to me thats gone backwards the most for me
Were scoring for fun season before last, but really decimated their team
Chesterfield had a boost with the new ground but never committed enough for the team.
Gillingham I suspect will need 3 penalties again in the last 8 minutes of all their games to stay up
they cant defend for toffee

Shame that Charlton won last week, would really have liked to see the fat John Bishop tribute act get relegated.,

Charlton biggest club in the League path!

To me it shows just what a big club we are and how much money McCabe and The Prince have put in over 6 years.

So many teams look like winning it, or miss out through the play offs but they aren't big enough or strong enough to keep their players. Then if we lose ours, we still have enough to replace them.

What I mean is, in the 6 years of being here, who came mightily close to promotion?
Tranmere. Orient. Stevenage. Notts county. Gillingham. Swindon. Yeovil. Doncaster... And now where are they?

All 1 season wonders, the latter 2 at least had a season up but it ultimately cost them. Both suffered back to back relegations. Tranmere did a Scunthorpe - steamed clear by November and are now in the conference.
