Team vs West Ham

Anybody see the FA cup replay last night, WHU looked the better team both technically and physically, but BC looked the more likely to score all the way through the second half, they didn’t waste possession and pressed at every opportunity.

What surprised me the most was how angry WHU were, real hair triggers to a man, retaliations and off the ball incidents were common.

I really think we (as fans) can get at these fuckers, we just need 90 minutes of United hate fucking cockneys and soft southern bastards, and we’ll get a couple sent off.

Personally would go 4-3-3. Assuming everyone is fit would go something like this.

Bogle-Robbo-Trusty-RND
Hamer-Souza-Brooks
McAtee-Archer-BBD

Some questionable calls in dropping Osula after his last few games in favour of Archer but Archer plays his best when playing as a striker.

As much as I like Baldock, Bogle should start over him at the moment as he hasn't warranted losing his place in the starting 11.

Hopefully we might see a few returning players on the bench like Tom Davies (if fit), Egan (if fit) ready for the second part of the season. Maybe Jebbison as well if he plans to sign his new contract with us.
 
yes think we will go 433 saturday and think team more or less picks itself only question for me is does osula start up top or do we go with archer

Why hasn't he trained?

Osula deserves a start after 2 goals at Gillingham. Personally T Bone I think he'll have a better career too.

Presumably he's carrying a knock then? Unlikely to just down tools and get some sunshine with Princey instead of training for an important home game!

Really? I like pairings, and RND/Trusty on one side and Anel/Baldock on the other sounds solid at the back and exciting going forward.

I do think Osula would be unfortunate if he was to lose his spot though. I prefer him to Archer away from home as well.

I like the team, just not that particular formation, very isolated up top with only 1 number 10 behind a lone striker.

Would prefer 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 at home, especially now we have a specialist wide forward in BBD.

At the risk of sounded like the world's worst Blade (in my defence I'm away this weekend so won't be able to watch either way) but I was thinking we were away, yeeeees I know we've already lost at their place recently now.

So, yep, I fully agree for a home game.
I love the idea of 4231.
The 3 being McAtee, BBD and Archer behind Osula though, but until we get a powerhouse to partner Vinnie in a holding two I just can't see it unless we are only one behind with 10min to go.

I think 4231 would probably be the best solution but without a specific type of addition alongside souza we would get undone. but i do admit that if we did have that player the thought of McAtee, BBD & archer off a striker is good.

thought of archer not playing sickens me. he's the closest thing we have got (temporarily) to a striker that can compete anywhere near the standard of this division and for me he's still not proved he's a premier league striker. While Osula is athletic and stretches the game with youth, you cant guarantee a start against west ham with a good performance against gillingham. he is a great option away.
