Team vs WBA?

I’d probably go along with that team but look to get Davies on earlier for some more minutes in those legs.

Hopefully get some minutes for Moore too

I think Wilder hinted that Brewster was ahead of Moore in recovery? So I’d expect to see some minutes for him perhaps on Sun as opposed to Keiffer

Defo Campbell starting though. Brace time

Start Davies - if he breaks down or gets tired replace him with Peck who is match fit

we’re going to really need him between now and the end of the season.

We shouldn’t take any chances

It's a balancing act ... he needs minutes to get match fit
Don’t disagree but may as well give him 30 at the weekend, start him for 60 in the next and so on rather than throw him in to start after a brief cameo

I'd think about giving young Dovy a start and leave Gilchrist where he is, then if it isn't happening fetch Seriki on and move Gilchrist inside then. The problem with with starting Seriki & Gilchrsit is we have no height at set pieces plus if anything happens or when they start to tire we are fucked.

Agree on the lack of height but I I don’t think he’s featured in a first team squad this season has he? Can’t see beyond JOC and Gilchrist at centre back.

Do WBA still have the long throw expert?
If so we could be in bother without Soutter and Anel.

Davies said in his post match that he’s nowhere near fit and happy to come on and help out towards the end of games as needed.

Who's Dovy ?

Can’t see it being anything else than what the OP suggested. Wilder doesn’t throw people in to the starting lineup who are coming back from injury/haven’t had any game time.

Hopefully the match pans out so that Tom Davies and Moore (if available) can get some minutes.

A slightly tough few decisions as we have to consider Millwall game a few days later, though given that we will be able to rotate our CB's for the game, we can play Millwall with a fully rested Souttar and Anel.

That being said, I reckon we'll mix it up in both games with some changes for both.

----------------Cooper
Seriki-Gilchrist-Robbo-McCallum
-------------Peck-Souza
-------Brooks-O'Hare-Hamer
--------------Campbell

I think Wilder might do what he did at Leeds.
I don't see the justification for this. While I disagreed with changing formation for Leeds, I at least could see the rationale behind it. But I cannot find any logic to changing for WBA.

We also don't have the personnel available to accommodate playing 3 CBs, and having cover for them on the bench. Unless we were to resort to someone from the youth setups who is thoroughly inexperienced.
