Yet another thread for folks that believe they know better !

Fill your boots lads 😂.

I know it failed for Lee Carsley v Greece , but our strikers are so bad that maybe we're better off dropping them and just playing all our talented midfielders instead?

Cooper
Gilchrist Souttar Anel Burrows
Souza Arblaster
Sakyi Brewster Brooks
Moore

This for me too.

Keeper and defence pick themselves.
Souza and Blaser the best options for that two.
Pace and trickery on the wings.
Brewster a better option than O'Hare at the minute (never thought I'd be saying that)
Moore because we have no other option.

In some other dimension where we've got a forward thinking manager, the 3 of Brooks, JRS and Brewster would be interchanging and causing all sorts of shenanigans.

Cooper

Gilchrist - Souttar - Anel - Burrows

Souza - Arblaster

Campbell - O'Hare - Brooks

Rak-Sakyi

Call me crazy but why not go back to the bulk of the team that took us to the top of the league on the back of 9 games unbeaten?

Minus Hamer of course.

Cooper
Burrows
Ahmedhodzic
Souttar
Gilchrist

Unless Wilder thinks we can't go toe to toe with Stoke.

Explain? It's just a thread asking of opinions who should start 😅

I know McBurnies left but no need to still be a moaning twat 🙂
Moaning. Really ??

I just find it interesting how our incredibly knowledgable fan base purport to know better than our own management team.

Unless of course it’s concerning our much loved previous #9, which they clearly got horribly wrong from the outset to the tune of £30m 😉👀.

Not digging you out per se, but this kind of thread will have posters putting their own favourite XI out there which will mean several dozen (at least) versions of what good looks like with only a fraction of the detail of what strengths and weaknesses our oppo on any given day have, in order to formulate our best strategy.

You know, the stuff that the management team, data analysts and coaches spend hours on a day to day basis going over with a fine tooth comb.

And then question this, usually after the event with the same old shlop :-

Wrong team.
Wrong tactics.
Wrong preparation,
Wrong (insert whine of choice).

It’s a common theme in these ere parts.

I’ve said this before.

We DONT know better.
So DONT moan if it does in fact go wrong on the grass !!!

Our management team and players NEED our support right now after an emotionally draining few weeks.

Fairs.

I dropped O'Hare and Moore because they haven't been performing and I reckon a rest will do them good. It's a squad game so rotating is needed and especially upfront.

For example McAtee and D.Brooks were quality attacking players for us but still didn't play every game and it did them good.

So opinions for discussion aren’t allowed on a fans forum
Jeez man talk about blinkered

Oh come on. That’s not what was said.

This forum is all about opinions. How could it be anything else ?

Opinions projected as facts or criticisms after the event with the benefit of hindsight don’t sit too well with me.

My opinion (only that) is that our management team and players deserve a bit of slack from the fan base at this time, even when things don’t go to plan as per the last 2 outings.

We live to fight another day.

Some others less fortunate 😞.

Your crazy. coming on here, spouting this common sense, balanced arguments....

I would like to see:

Cooper

Seriki - Souttar - Anel - Burrows

Souza - Arblaster

Rak-Sakyi- O'Hare - Brooks

Campbell

I think Seriki gives more width going forward, him and Burrows overlapping should create more space for Brooks and Rak-Sakyi to cut in into. i think Gilchrist has been brilliant for the most part, but he doesn't like to get wide and round and we end up with their full backs able to tuck in tight to the box because they have no other threat to manage which JRS then cuts into meaning bodies are in the way. When RND came on, he wasn't amazing but he at least got pressure on their right back which created space for Brooks when he came on.

Campbell has hardly been on the pitch and not sure I remember him getting a touch. If he is fit though, I would give him 60 and let him run himself into the ground. Moore might have more impact at the end of the game if we need to "go long".

I hope we let loose a bit more tomorrow. let the players a bit of freedom to do what should be about, sticking the ball in the back of the net. They are all capable and I actually like this squad. there are no names I groan at when I see the team sheet. They just need to be allowed to play to their strengths and also have the confidence to do just that.

Our defence is sound, just be nice for them not to have to defend our half for 90 minutes.

I am getting excited for tomorrow.

Agree , go with plan A and do it better .
Also agree with Brooks addition for Hamer .

Well having watched Stoke struggle against a low block and 5 -4-1 this season and one game last season , I say we go for that and try and sneak a winner on the counter...
