Cooper
Godfrey - Tanganga - Mee - Burrows
Peck - Matos - Hamer
Brooks - Campbell - Barry.

2-2.

I would tend to agree, possibly adding Burrows to that list.
Bindon and maybe Peck rested. They will have missed the preparation for this match, because of the Internationals.
Neither Campbell nor Ings are guaranteed to be able to play 90+ mins so may have to split the time between them, for now.
Hopefully the more recently signed players have a better understanding of Selles's tactics... which has alluded the rest of the players so far.
Agree with Burrows, cos, despite how poor he's been, he's still a much better choice that 0% pass completion McCallum

I’d like to see us ring the changes and get some of the new bodies in

Cooper

Godfrey
Tanganga
Mee
Burrows

Matos
Soumare
Hamer

Chong
Ings
Barry

Brooks/Ohare/Campbell/Peck all need a kick up the arse.

Hamer needs to sit in behind the strikers and be relinquished of defensive duties, so think having a couple of defensive midfielders behind adds stability.

If I read your formation correctly, the left side is Burrows - Hamer - Barry?

If so, I can see Ipswich targeting that.

Maybe move Matos to the left in front of Burrows, replace Barry with Hamer and put Peck at RCM alongside his new best friend, Soumare? (though I think you may be right about Peck needing a kick up the arse)

Don’t mind so long as Bindon is nowhere near. Lad looks a real liability I’m afraid, at fault for all 3 of Australia’s goals, in a match of barely championship quality. Is it too late to get money back? Perhaps Ange needs a good look at him?

Not one player in the entire club would get on the bench in that team👍

Cooper could certainly give Hope a run for the strting 11.

The bench then, numbered 1 and I'm guessing it would probably have been Scullion, so I reckon Hamer would be an improvement on that.

Matos surely starts in Peck's place Friday. Chong's in form and high on confidence but will have done a lot of flying, so maybe save him for the second half. Ogbene ineligible as per the presser. Would be tempted to start Ings with Campbell to come on as sub. As for the rest of the midfield, god knows

Not sure about 3 at the back with 2 holding midfielders?
Yeah this is tending towards the 'Back 8' formation that Wilder and Hecky liked to use when we got relegated out of the Prem. It also leads to a complete loss of central midfield so I suspect this could well be Ruben's Plan B!!

Would give Peck a rest too onto the bench, potential to swap Hamer and O'Hare around or Chong on the left. Mcguinness on the bench for Mee later will bring some height in too.

Playing Godfrey Mee Tanga and Burrows as our back four leaves us with no height at all and vulnerable at corners etc.

Cooper
Godfrey - McGuinness - Tanganga
Seriki - Peck - Soumare - Burrows
Hamer- O'Hare
Campbell

More solid through the middle with Hamer and O'Hare free to roam and not worry too much about defending, clearly not their gig based on the diabolical implementation of a 4-3-3.

Three in the middle of Fleck, Norwood and Lundstram - absolutely. Peck, Hamer and O'Hare - absolutely not under any circumstances.

Away at Ipswich I think it’s fine, Peck would probably be preferred generally but he’s not playing well, I’d give the two new centre mids a run and see if one or both can claim the shirt.
