and let's be honest, our reserves should have the beating of a National league team, however I am 100% serious about us going for it.
I genuinely think with a good wind and small helping of fortune (deserved after the weekend), we could lift a major trophy this season or at very least get a day out at Wembley.

I’m thinking exactly the same, we’re comfortable in the league so if we aren’t going to have a good go in the cup this season then when will we?

We could of course beat Fylde and draw Man City away in the 4th round and it’s all over, but if the draw is kind we could easily make the final.

I think we should drop the 3 centre back formation when we swap the whole team, the formation we play is very reliant on having round pegs in round holes. When we have one or two injuries/suspensions it is easier for a couple of players to slot into the formation, seems to me when we make 11 changes it is a big ask. I can see why we change it completely but think it might be fairer on the second string to just play 442 or something they are more comfortable with.

My Team:

Verrips/Moore

Bash
Jags
O’Connell

K.Freeman
Besic
Lundstram
Osborn

L.Freeman

McGoldrick
Sharp

I’d then look to bring off Bash, O’Connell and McGoldrick after 45 minutes or an hour assuming we’re winning comfortably by that point.
I'd prefer this type of team to give it some structure which was totally lacking in the Sunderland match, but think it will be all change.

Full changes are inevitable given the games we've had beforehand. Agree with Flatulent_Bob about going for it though.

Make changes for this, hopefully get through it and then we should be in a better position to play our strongest side in the next round(s).

We play Liverpool on Thursday, this game on Sunday, and then West Ham on the following Friday. We'll make 10-11 changes, and understandably so.

Verrips
Jags Stearman Bryan
Besic Ravel Norwood Freeman Osborn
Robinson MacBonneigh

Kean Bryan has already been mentioned by Wilder as someone that will be going on loan, so he may have already gone out by then.
Hopefully, and hopefully it will make a Player of him!
I'm sure he must've been keeping fit ploughing Sophie over the festive period!

Any reason why you are all selecting a reserve keeper? Wilder says Henderson is here all season...

Full strength side for me please. I’m probably the only one but still value the FA Cup.

I agree but I would still "risk" a full reserve side against Fylde... if we get through to 4th round I'd then be in favour of playing our strongest/very strong line up from then onwards...

Free agents can sign at any point.

I'm aware that free agent's can sign at anytime but I'm pretty sure that they have to be registered as a player for 7 days before playing in the cup.
Not the same rule for league games.

Not sure what team will play, but as the league tables stand this will be one of the biggest upsets in FA Cup history. Currently a total of 103 places between us and them.

Moore
Rodwell - Jagielka - O'Connell
Freeman - Besic - Freeman - Osborn
Morrison
Sharp - McBurnie

I’ve a feeling in my waters that this might be a game for the Lion of Hillsborough to come storming into the shop window.

GK - Verrips
RCB - Jagielka
CB - Stearman
LCB - Bryan
RWB - K.Freeman
LWB - Osborn
CM - Besic
CM - Rodwell
AMC - L.Freeman
CF - Sharp
CF - Robinson

Would have put Moore in the net, but he is injured (groin)
Morrison may play, but linked with ADO Den Haag, with Wilder willing to talk, so left him out.
