I’d guess

Verrips

Freeman
Jags
Bryan
Stearman
Osborn

Besic
Morrison
L Freeman

Sharp
Clarke/McBurnie/Robinson

Forgot about Bryan, mind you, that's not hard really.

Looking forward to seeing Verrips actually (you watch, Moore will be fit again and play)

Verrips

Freeman Jags Stearman Bryan Osborn

Besic Morrison Freeman

Robinson Sharp

Maybe chuck a youth in if we have any knocking around, Sam Graham? An academy striker.

we need to win this game regardless because we cant suffer the Ignomy of losing to a non league side in consective seasons. espically when we probally have our greatest opportunity to make a fa cup final for 45 years & will be a lot like blackburn game

moore
jagelika
stearman
(1 of the main 3)

Freeman (I rather not, but by default as have no else)
Besic
Freeman
Morrison
Osborn

Sharp
Robinson

GK - Verrips
RCB - Jagielka
CB - Stearman
LCB - Bryan
RWB - K.Freeman
LWB - Osborn
CM - Morrison
CM - Besic
CM - L.Freeman
CF - Robinson
CF - Sharp

I’ll be going...not bought a ticket yet.
My main motivation is to see how Ravel Morrison performs.....he‘s been dissapointing in the other cup games
Interested in seeing the highly rated Verrips in action
and I’m also interested in seeing how good or how bad Fylde are?
Never seen them play...I went to the Burscough game in 1980 so this will be similiar.

What about playing David Parkhouse in the FA Cup games?

It would totally screw over any teams trying to low ball us for him in January as he couldn't be able to play for 3 teams in one season but also it may give him an audition for Wilder's squad since he's been away.

We have six striker slots on our books at first team level.

I'd be surprised if Leon is here by February.

Love having Billy around the club and hope he still has some in the tank - literally gets written off every season! But he is 34 in February so even if he's not moving on, a successor is needed.

It's also not as if Robinson has come off quite yet as a striker. He's young and can improve but you can't say he's really nailed a spot.

Give him a chance to stake a claim. He might exceed all expectations Ike DCL has done at Everton - linked with a 50m move to Man U today (did someone say sell on? Hope so!)

Maybe he could 'do a Lunny'?

So, my team would be as follows:

Moore/Verrips
Jags Stearman Bryan (or Rodwell!)
Freeman Besic Freeman Osborn
Robinson
Sharp Parkhouse

There's enough in the papers to suggest Morrison hasn't done enough to stake a claim and at 27 in January, 14 minutes of football simply isn't enough for this stage of his career. He can have few complaints. The midfield has picked itself from day 1, and both Freeman and latterly Besic have both come in and done accomplished jobs when the first picks have been unavailable. Despite limited game time, Osborn has also done little wrong. For that reason, I see no point in cup tying him when he may we'll be out the door this month. He needs to play and barring circumstances, I don't see it happening any time soon.

If Rodwell signs then I'd have him in the Basham role and Jags and Stears the other two. Bryan needs a loan so no benefit in cup-tying him either if reenforcements are in.

Full strength side for me please. I’m probably the only one but still value the FA Cup.
I can understand this thought. And my own thinking is not that 'it's only Fylde' but the fixtures have contrived to give us a tough run and we don't want to enter February in freefall.

City - unlucky loss
Liverpool - expected loss
West Ham - new manager syndrome
Arsenal - new manager syndrome
City - very tough even with home advantage

Getting these out the way is one thing, but not taking the chance to rest the first picks is going to be potentially detremental to far more winnable fixtures in February.

I'd even go so far as to send the first 12 away (including McGoldrick, McBurnie and Mousset) for 4 or 5 days of R&R in a warm climate straight after the Liverpool game to get refreshed.

Hope to see Verrips, Morrison, Osborne and L. Freeman along with Billy and Leon up front.
Rodwell cannot play even if we sign him as players must be registered a week before the game.

I thought players could be registered until 12pm the previous day?

I thought because he was a free agent we can sign him whenever, tomorrow possibly for example?

The slight irritant around this is, if Sunday proves anything it's that we could win this cup if we took it seriously. It seems crazy to even suggest it, but it's true, we can, on our day, beat anyone this season. The squad should be able to handle another 6 games so why don't we go for it?

Don’t know, don’t care......

Which is a shame but I can hardly blame you. Clubs haven't given a shit for years, only a matter of time before fans were the same.

We'd probably get a game if we took our boots down..............

After the busy schedule of late I'd be very surprised if we didn't give the first XI a break. A lot of the others need match fitness too.

If Rodwell is signed, I'd like to see this:

Verrips

Freeman Rodwell Jagielka Bryan Osborn

Morrison Besic Freeman

Robinson Sharp

That's a decent side, but the big issue is getting the players motivated 100%.

Fylde have three ex-Blades who might play; Andy Taylor, Mark Yeates and Danny Philliskirk.

and let's be honest, our reserves should have the beating of a National league team, however I am 100% serious about us going for it.
I genuinely think with a good wind and small helping of fortune (deserved after the weekend), we could lift a major trophy this season or at very least get a day out at Wembley.

My Team:

Verrips/Moore

Bash
Jags
O’Connell

K.Freeman
Besic
Lundstram
Osborn

L.Freeman

McGoldrick
Sharp

I’d then look to bring off Bash, O’Connell and McGoldrick after 45 minutes or an hour assuming we’re winning comfortably by that point.

I know mate and I completely agree, tricky one for the management.
