I don't mind the look of that at all but 2 things Firstly will CW change the formation we've been using for months for such a big game? Secondly if Choudhury has to play we r then effectively playing with 7 'defensive' players

And rightly so. 5 at the back is 5 years out of date. 4-2-3-1 isn't far behind but it's better than 5-3-2.

Jeff didn't play in u21 yesterday so is he going to be a surprise on Sunday

Absolutely no chance. Poison dwarf Bannan will play and is a decent bet for a yellow, probably for hacking Peck down after he gets nutmegged.

Made some changes after what I saw on Tuesday night.

I did think about putting Brooks in instead of Brewster, as while he hasn't played since QPR, he is a Blade and if there is any game he would be up for this season, it's this one.

CW did praise Holding in his post match interview on Tuesday so it wouldn't surprise me if he did drop Robbo for him, think dropping Anel for Holding was just to make sure Holding was fit enough to start on Sunday.

Hamer playing in midfield worked against Bristol City and made us move the ball through midfield and out wide a lot better and quicker, if Souza isn't back/fit I'd put Hamer at CM alongside Peck, and just get them to use all the space, rather than sitting too deep.

The only place Brewster should ever play is as the second striker in a front two, as soon as he plays wide, as a number 10 or dropped into midfield, he's absolutely useless, the other night he started great when he came on in his best position, but ended up almost man-marking Choudhury at right back after Wilder went negative and put McCallum on in midfield, a substitution he makes regularly that always makes us much worse. For that reason, I'd leave McCallum off the bench, just so he can't do it.

I don't see any case for dropping Seriki other than fitness, Choudury is a bad right back, playing him there rather than an actual right back would be barmy, especially as he offers even less going forward than Gilchrist or Clarke. Seriki got dragged out of position a few times the other night but only because he was marking his man and even then, all the problems for our defence came up the other side and nobody is suggesting dropping Burrows.

Midfield is going to be the important thing, Choudhury and Peck barely touched the ball on Tuesday (and when Hamza did it was when he kept dropping back between the centre backs to play pointless sideways stuff). Hopefully Souza is fit, if not putting Hamer in the middle should help get us some possession.

The thing I don’t want to see most on tomorrow’s team sheet is that of Choudhury playing at right back .

When he first came on as sub a few weeks ago in that role , I thought he made a fairly good fist of it but since then his limitations in that role have been clearly exposed . I don’t necessarily blame him for that since it is clearly not his natural position .

From what I’ve seen , much of Wednesday’s attacking threat comes from down the left and given his shortcomings in that role I can see it as costing us dearly if this were to be the case .

Conversely , if Vini is not available which seems likely , whilst not being the perfect replacement he is probably the best that we have and would be playing in a role which clearly suits him much better .
