Didzy was good when he came on, at least a 6.

Lunny/Berge/Norwood all a 5 for me. Never got a grip of the game.

Sharp and McB poor but worked on scraps at best.

Also felt Egan struggled until they subbed Davis off.

Don't think Sharp or McBurnie had much to get hold of. I don't think we even got into our stride at all.

Mousset doesn't get a mention then? Fair enough though.

Honestly they nearly all looked like they hadn't played football for months (which is exactly the case) except Henderson, Basham and Robinson, who I think had a very good debut. Based on that a point and a CS is certainly satisfactory for me.

Still scratching my head over Berge. There's a good player in there but I'd still rather Lundstram start over him rest of the season as he still looks uncomfortable with the system.

McGoldrick good when he came on. Should get the nod alongside Sharp or Mousset on Sunday.

Jack Robinson just in front of Henderson. Rest looked rusty but understandable.

The controversy has overshadowed the fact that we were the poorer team tonight. We rely on core strength fitness, winning the ball back in physical challenge and overlapping runs. The lungs were working, but hopefully the type of fitness that they build, will build again as the next few weeks go on. You can’t do this type of training at home in your garden.

Henderson 7 (Did what he had to do, but there were no “outstanding” saves, all of them were pretty routine)
Baldock 5
Basham 6
Egan 5 (Thought he was bullied)

Egan 8 I thought he was awful

Berge is being played out of position. He needs to be central but that obviously won’t happen while ever Norwood is available. He just hasn’t got the energy or pace to play like Fleck or Lundstram do. Norwood would be the same if he was played in that position.

I thought McBurnie worked his balls off and won a lot of headers.

It's not his fault we were lacking attacking creativity.

So I'd give him a 7
