Who was that kid we had on loan from Inter Milan a fair few years back? That 17 year old (or whatever he was), destined to be the next best thing since Cristiano Ronaldo?
Was he Bosnian or Serbian or something? Add him to the list.

Goran Slavkoski. The next Ibrahimovic!

Lescinel Jean Francois- Haiti
Lyle Taylor- Monserratt
Paul Ifill and Jonathan Forte- Barbados
Steve Kabba- Sierra Leone
Ashley Sestanovich- England/Grenada/Croatia

In fact scrap that. The wonders of Wikipedia:

Now 26 years old, the Macedonian-Swede is currently playing in the Swedish 6th division.

.......probably still do a better job than Sammon!

Whilst Kabba and Sestanovich may have descent from those countries, they weren't born there and didn't play for them, so I don't think we can include them :-)

Could almost do a team of Jamaicans.

Claude Davis
Lee Williamson
Jamal Campbell-Ryce
Barry Hayles
Luton Shelton
Marlon King

I struggled coming up with quality foreign midfield players. Having said that it wouldn't have been much stronger if I'd included British born players! (Since I started supporting the Blades I think Michael Brown and Michael Tongue are the only real quality midfield players we have had who weren't coming to the end of their careers).

Ah come on Darren. First you won’t give us any Ched gossip and now you’re pissing on my bonfire. You can go off a person you know!

I think you are forgetting Ian Hamilton and Jonathon Hunt there....

But seriously, surely Paul Devlin gets in that list doesn't he? And Kevin McDonald?

They were good players for us, but I wouldn't call them great players. I still think we have had a lack of real quality midfielders over the past 40 years.

We had one for 45mins John Ebrell

Take a look at this sentence which I've see when just looking him up... If ever a sentence summed up our luck as a club it's this

Fun Fact After an injury-free 10 years at Everton he joined Sheff Utd for £1 million, where he got injured 40 minutes into his debut and never played football again.
