maybe we could go 3-5-2 and try to stifle the midfield. oh wait...we dont have 5 midfielders. could go 10-0-0 with all the players stood on the goal line with reaaaaally big hats? worth a go? or 5-0-5 and hoof the thing 40 yards every time we get the ball.

or stick porter, cresswell and kitson in a back 3 to try to confuse them into attacking their own goal.

In all seriousness. I would go for Cresswell or Kitson at CB with McMahon at RB. No point playing a young un against Donny. Maybe try someone vs Oxford next week but not this game

Blades: Long, Higginbotham, Hill, Flynn, Doyle, Blackman, McDonald, Kitson, Whitehouse, McMahon, Kennedy. Subs: Westlake, McAllister, Cresswell, Cofie, Ironside, Williams. Coyne.

That's a very bold move from DW. Well done!

Bold indeed. There was a comment in the week that DW isn't critical enough in post-match interviews. Given all the players dropped are fit to be on the bench, I think you've seen a pretty clear indication of whether he was happy with certain players from the Hartlepool game.

Fookin marvellous isn't it how Maguire is suspended yet those cheating bastards at S6 not only get away with a player getting 2 yellow cards and staying on the field last game but they are also allowed to play him today. The dead monkee even has the nerve to put him in the side for today fookin unbelievable :mad::mad:

At last youth with a hint of exp. to help them out give em a bollocking what are the danny out brigade gonna say ?? yeah but yeah well, he did'nt do this that or the other sorry for being a loyal blade (sorry a clapper )sign murphy after celt game tomoz and that'll be the winger c/back - l/back, we've all been asking for well done the club. Now lets beat these donnie tramps today.

Don't think one up front is very bold TBH but good to see Whitehouse and Kennedy in the team.

Maybe DW was going for a draw. That plan didn't last long. No doubt he'll change things at some point in the second half.

Wait for our man from Liverpool's response. Remember he watches the pigs.

considering we are bereft of regulars that was a gutsy away point, and we saw several youngsters come of age in a rousing finale, probably a better result than we could have expected
