I think we should be going with 2 CAMs tomorrow, Berge and MGW give us the chance to get a grip on the game and they are our most exciting starters. We seemed to be lacking further up the pitch v Forest with little to link the midfield and Sharp often looked isolated in 1st half imo.

The team with Osborn in immediately looked better, and for that reason he starts. IMO the rest of the team picks itself with the injuries/suspensions

what would your team be for tuesday Blades?

Can't really argue with that, sounded like Ozzy had a goodun against Forest so a bench of Davies, RND, Gordon, NDiaye, Hourihane, Jebbo and McBurnie to go along with it.

I'd play Hourihane instead of Fleck, I've seen some say that Fleck was ok the other day, I thought he was crap.

RND instead of Osborn, I think Osborn will struggle for a start having not played much, there's no point playing a LWB that will need subbing on 60 mins.

Sharp has to play or we won't score so the front 3 look good.

Only thing I worry about that team is Osborn & Robinson together after watching them together at the start of the season. Robinson is in much better form now though

Agree with that almost the strongest team maybe I would have Hourihane in place of Fleck

Hourihane or one of the corner flags instead of Norwood as seems to be in a rich vein of giving the ball away at the moment.

yeah was definitely torn between Fleck and Hourihane, theyre both decent on set pieces (although norwood takes them anyway), Fleck is slightly more mobile which is why i thought he’d be better against a boro team which will go man for man.

I’m afraid Wilder might have us completely sussed and we’ll be on the end of a big home defeat, he knows our players inside out and will have a great depth of experience on how to nullify our threats, some key weak points being Norwood (despite his form) and Sharp. If those two are taken out of the game, which i think they might be, i do fear for our chances.

100% this

Leave Norwood or fleck out, move Sander back a bit to nullify that spozzy lanky Crooks and put iliman in. I have a feeling this match is made for Ndiaye. Come on you Blades.

Ooh , you’re so close !

Play RND at left wing back ( who is nowhere near as bad as some would have us believe) and move Ozzy to left side holding midfield to provide the energy and commitment that both Fleck and Hourihan sadly lack , and that’s about as good as gets in the present circumstances imo .

This is the team to whup Wilder’s ass ! :)

It's going to come as a massive shock to Wilder when he realises the keeper he wouldn't give a game to and the left centre back cover who always have goals away have turned into peak Buffon and Maldini in his absence!

Let's see who's fit first. As long as we try and start quickly and on the front foot, keep Howson off the ball and mark Crooks at set pieces then I think we'll win. Their away form has been patchy at best.

Start Osborn on the bench but bring him on after 10 minutes and tell him to do the exact same as he did last time out.

Hourihane instead of fleck please. We look much more threatening.

Did folk not see the Millwall game? Hourihane was back to his hiding/pass backwards utterly shite ways.

Pity Wilder didn’t utilise his incredible insight into our strengths & weaknesses last season 🤔

You can have a game plan to nullify etc which I don't think he will tbf, but if he does, this is where we need the likes of MGW, berge and ndiaye if he comes on to open them up by beating their direct opponent in 1v1 situations.

It's a good team but why have you put Osborn on his weaker left side of the pitch 🙃
