BS has had nothing to work with. Even if we win this by 5, this game shows how utterly out of place we are in the PL.

Why didn't Basham take out the guy in the centre circle? A yellow card but no pen, & then rushes in like an idiot, still a yellow card, utterly idiotic. And why doesn't Ramsdale just dive 1 way, rather than all this bouncing from foot to foot.

No pace, we are so slow, no quality from a team that look more Lg1 than PL, & don't give me 'there are worse teams than us garbage'. Fulham look much better & at least WBA put up a fight yesterday, & the league positions never lie.

I look forward to My Take later, for a robust critique of another dreadfully embarrassing performance. The pundits are trying to make out we have been in the game, which we have as the fodder for a team that have not been under any pressure.

Lunstrum is another who can do one, good last season as played early ball, attacked everything etc, this season, he would manage to slow down the fucking planet if he could.

At least.....We can’t be sentimental about this. We’ve got to be honest and say a good half dozen of this team, will never play Premier football again. I know we’re a team built on hard work and team ethic. But we desperately need a couple of game changing midfielders, then build a team around them. Also the number 10 role needs to be restored.

Wilder wanted to bring in someone but seems wasn't backed. So we have no choice but to go with the existing midfielders unless we play an attacking mid and we don't do that often for fear of getting overan in midfield.

We get overrun in midfield now. And because we play with a flat 3 we never ever create anything. We have the worst of all worlds
