I don't sit as far left as you do, on G block, and even I could see he was offside.

The linesman had done similar a few minutes earlier, when one of their players did a cross field pass to a lad who was miles off side (in front of the family stand) right in front of the linesman, who kept his flag down and the family stand erupted at the decision.
We sit on gangway B in the South Stand and we have noticed over the last couple of seasons linesmen failing to give blatant offsides every match. It seems to have become a recurring theme.

Looks inside to me. The angle is very hard to tell though. It was very tight either way and if that's the case then it can go either way. Our defence hasn't pushed up enough if offside was the plan but we've not marked their goalscorer neither. Two of our players are marking the same man too, one is Bindon. Robbo marking no one.

Marginal offside decisions should always go in favour of the attacking side in my view because if you're not 100% it's offside then don't call it. We suffered last season v Hull where we scored a legitimate equaliser by Campbell which was called offside.
Except at Wembley in a PO final!

When var is in play then it will always just go with what the decision is from the var lines. It's one of the main reasons why I dislike var.
I think that if it's given onside by the linesman but found by var to be marginally offside then it should be daylight difference to overturn the decision.

Bit like cricket reviews for lbw.

I watched this one back and he was well onside, thought he was miles off at the time too.

(Presume you mean this one, sorry if not)

I don't think it was that one, but would have to see it again, I thought the bloke was stood still as the ball was passed to him and was much further forward.

Then again, my eye sight isn't what it used to be (old age!)

I was part of the eruption

I have no idea why anyone would choose to post this as fact unless they had nailed on information direct from a very reliable source. Looks a bit attention seeking.
Of course it may be correct Nick, but it does have a strong aroma of Bullshit about it to me. Of course aromas can also hide the true smell. To be fair after Saturdays performance I wouldn't blame him for not wanting to come.

I think the problem is VAR. You get EPL teams doing their EFL stints who are told when VAR is in use not to flag. You have demoted EPL teams doing the same. Presumably the training now is confusing.

We would have agreed wages etc etc all before the bid so Saturday won’t have been an issue lol

It’s either failed medical or issues on structure of fees, if it’s the latter then I doubt it’s fallen through which means most likely is the former
