But what a truly terrible mistake for him that would have been!

We were interested in both him and Tanganga, and Thomas seemed to be in the same price bracket

Not sure if he'd have signed but if our interest was advanced we likely had indications that he was willing

He's started like he started last season. Immense.

Throw in a fully fit Cooper who is now coming early and claiming dangerous crosses again rather than struggling like he did last year.

Mcgueiness also played his part too.His best blades performance to date! He was more aggressive and sharper which he had to be on the day as Brum were throwing balls into the spaces! he and Tanganga were our stand out players against a physical and big Brum.
Has he taken up the challenge Wilder has thrown at him( not part of his squad) Wilder called out some of the squad when he first came in (2016)and some took it on board some didnt! the rest is history..

It was a difficult one really as to who you give that too, he did his bit, Cooper did well, so did the 2 Maccas, when it's a 0-0, when we have had 2 shots on target against and 1 for, it was always going to be a defensive pick

It was one of Tanganga & McGuinness for us.
Could've been Seriki but he was too wasteful with his end product.

I'd marginally go for Tanganga because his intervention when their player went through 2 on 1 probably won us a point.
