He's too smart to move to Palace, even for big bucks. It would ruin his career imo. Think of the Adkins situation, great under the right circumstances but Adkins wasn't smart enough to realise where his strengths and weaknesses were, he got found out at United because he couldn't manage that type of expectation and now he's sitting on a panel looking at dives.
I'm not saying Wilder is like Adkins at all, but I think he's smart enough to know that his success has come from creating tight knit teams that play for the team and not for themselves, knowing that if you pull together in that way everyone is succesful. He wouldn't have the chance or time to create that in the Premier league and he has no prior PL experience, he'd inherit a team of players where only some of them would buy into his way of doing things, there'd be the egos that he'd need to get rid of and that's a long term project. IMO He's going to need to get promoted to the PL before he takes another job there just to get the right experience. If he does leave it will be at the end of a season where he has a full pre season to prepare.
