I have been watching the Blades since the 70/71 season, & this lot are the worst performing team I have ever seen represent us in the top division of the EFL, without a doubt & by some margin.

Today summed up the season for me.

Individual errors
Poor ball control
No creativity
Virtually nothing for the strikers to feed off
Susceptible to crosses/dead balls into the box
Very little fight or obvious commitment to the cause
Very little to offer from the bench
DM by miles our best player
New signings offering very little to the promotion team
We only really played when they dropped deep after the second goal
Completely unable to impose ourselves on the opposition
Nothing is going for us, absolutely nothing

The Good news is that for the first time in years I can watch a game & not feel wound up if we loose, & I grasp at any bit of positivity [it lasted 2 minutes today].

Eddie Colquhoun, Trevor Hockey [RIP], Vinnie Jones, Tony Kenworthy, Chris Morgan, Jake Wright etc would put some steel into these poor excuses for a PL team.

We are the worst team in the PL. & unless things change could be the worst the PL has ever had stealing its money.

I am a big CW fan, but....................... just but at the moment, there is a limit to how much we can put up with a lack of commitment & fight. Defeats I can take, but gutless performances with no fight I cannot.

I was just thinking this lot are worse than the team relegated in the 70's far too many players in their late 20's early 30's who saw last season as their high water mark, their one season that would set them up for life and now they just can't be arsed to put the same effort in. The rest are young kids who should be looking up to these old pro's not the bottle jobs they have turned into. Of the older end only Sharp and McGoldrick and maybe Basham look like they could give a fuck, may as well get rid of the rest along with one or two of the young uns who will never be up to it. Even Wilder and Knill look resigned to dropping back down to the Championship FFS show a bit of fight.
