Tahith Chong has not featured in Luton Town’s most recent matches this season.

  • He’s currently building his way back to fitness after missing time during pre-season due to a groin injury. Manager Matt Bloomfield confirmed that Chong is "nearly back" and "building his way back," indicating he has not yet returned to match action.

He definitely fits the criteria…..He’s injured or at least was, so will need some time to get up to speed, apart from that inconsequential matter then yeah then 🤞 he hits his potential with us.

It's not like us to sign someone unfit.

Well, we could wait for him to be back at full fitness, but then the transfer window would be closed.

If we didn't get him now, we might have never gotten him. Not as if he's another John Ebbrell

I mean, this is a surprise. Their’s 3 ways to assess any signings.

1- the player. He’s a decent player for the level and versatile. He adds depth to a position where he’s needed.

2- the deal. Around £2.5 million. Probably about par.

3- the context. Feels a bit panicky. But I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt as maybe the rumours just didn’t get out.

I heard we are in for a new Hospital Porter as well, apparently his patient pushing skills are world class and should be of benefit to TD & JS for the rest of the season.
Hospital? Is that what Chris called his son?

Another who looks like he picks up injuries

Also his stats do not look good but we did need someone in that position so I will get behind him.

We now have a lot of new signings to fit in so Selles needs to be at it

Shame we haven’t solved the CDM problem and ideally we need another striker

I can see Hamer and maybe others such as Robinson leaving now

Good signing. Always rated him when watching Luton games. Just hope it's not a Hamer replacement but something in me waters tells me it might be 😕

This would be my main worry, given that he had a groin op earlier in his career.
