Tackiest Blades souvenir

Tomorrow I will be visiting the club shop to see what tacky promotion souvenirs I can buy. It will proudly go with my Jostein Flo viking hat and Blades/Villa half and half scarf for the 2014 cup game. What tacky Blades souvenirs do others have?
 



I went there earlier for a Chesterfield programme (and ended up buying both the home & away shirts too!!) and whilst I was stood at the till I was looking at the badges and noticed they've got one that says on it 'Championship 16/17'.

I've heard if you've got a shirt you can get the words 'Champions 16/17' and 'We're going up' or somert like that printed around the badge in gold for a couple quid

I've seen that a few times on Facebook but assumed it was something that fans had got done themselves rather than the club doing it.
 
I've had 2 pint glasses etched up with the badge and "league one champions 2016/17"
They look mint, and will never be used for anything but, to remind me of this season!!

Must have got them when Adkins was manager assuming we would go up!
 
I have a pair of Ladies XL Cotton Briefs
with the 'Keith Edwards Scored With Me'
above the crotch.....

I also have a 'Justin Fashanu Scored With Me'
on the rear of a pair of lycra pants with the anal passage hole
cut out....

Which ones were mine?
 
Cant exactly buy them in the shop but I once pestered Salvatore Bibbo at a Reserve game to give me his gloves he did and signed them, as for the shop Mother in Law bought me a poor thermus mug from the shop. Best thing I've ever had from shop was a Parker pen that had the full diamond kit on it and I'm tempted by one of the SUFC Cycle jerseys, only the quality puts me off

A season ticket used to watch a team that had Dean Hammond, Conor Sammon ,and Martin Woolford in it.
 
I have a rather nice boiled sweet tin with our logo on.

I have kept the lid and just transfer it to each new tin of sweets I open. It seems that most manufacturers of boiled sweets use the same diameter tin which is clearly some sort of deference to us.

Yep, the shop offering is truly wank. Thought it might get better with Adidas but the rest of the tat is still as bad. Website is shite as well. When we got promoted they had a promotion souvenirs section which consisted of one shit tshirt and the obligatory fucking red and white jester hats and curly wigs which also come out for all our Wembley failures. Couldn't they have got some of the tshirts the players wore after Northampton on sale in the shop?

For ages the flagship offering on the main page of the website appeared to be personalised car mats!

I've seen a few comments about how good the social media offering is now from United. Hopefully the shop may also improve.

I want Adidas Originals retro trackies and tshirts like Man U get!
 
The unofficial O'Connell shirts doing the rounds at MK show up the sufc store for its lack of creativity and commercial sense.
 
With only a few notable exceptions over the years, the club shop feeds on the gullible with its poor quality cheap tasteless tat.

If there is something you may want, you feel the quality, look at an iron on badge, see how it will evaporate in the wash and see the price as 4 times as much as the inferior Matalan equivalent.

The Blades badge should only be applied to high quality items. We ruin our reputation with the tat and tack application of what is our brand and image.

I've still got my woven 'United Colours of Sheffield' T shirt from the 80's featuring the stripes, the yellow laver and the white 3 rd kit. A brilliant item, because it was woven, subtle and quality.

We need to wake up a bit in the old clothing Dept.

Ps- why only one silk tie a year (if lucky) and a mass of polyester ones? Daft.

The tackiest? The other week I saw a giant pebble, think it was from Whitby, with SUFC painted on it.
