I thought he and Davies were poor today, got dominated in the middle.

He's getting flogged to death with all these games. Mom for me in the last game. It was a tall order today. Our pressing from the front was none existent compared to usual. The two central midfielders players were getting overloaded time and again. In an ideal world neither should really be playing 90 minutes. We still won. Happy days?!

He’s done amazingly well in challenging circumstances, as wilder pointed out in his interview he’s basically been thrown in playing 3 times in a week all of a sudden.

He isn’t Arblaster but he’s a good lad who certainly wouldn’t cost us promotion.

Whether this is actually good for his development is a different conversation, we do need more in January, but unfortunately we’ve been forced into this situation through the owner, injuries, suspensions etc. I think he should be given immense credit.

IMO it’s 100% good for his development. He’s playing matches against the highest level of competition he can possibly face and we’re winning. It’s not like we’re getting hammered every week and his confidence battered. He clearly needs to develop his game and that will come with time, not immediate, but I think a combination of training and these matches can’t be beaten.

Peck does look a bit tired after the amount of games in such a short time (especially as he consistently plays the full 90).

But based off of today, I don't think Peck and Davies can play together in a 2 as neither of them can do Vini's job and today showed just how much we missed Vini, Plymouth wouldn't have got through even half as many times as they did today if Vini had played.

100% missed Souza’s physical presence in the middle of the park .
