Absolutely nothing to do with "people finding something to criticise and be miserable about" Sydie is going to be a tremendous player and I'm over the moon that he's obviously got a bit of passion in his belly and is shouting from the roof tops after I good 3 points yesterday .... good on you young'un.

Thing is in this case, he just needs somebody to have a little word in his ear and educate him on the Blades terrace attitude. We do not copy the pigs - we fuck them into the ground. WAWAW is a pig thing - they love it, and to be fair (as far as I know) they did start it. Leeds (embarrassingly enough) do their version of it. The pigs love the attention of this - it makes them feel maaaooooosive. It feeds their ego.

No worries Sydie, you are going to be a star my son, but pal, just a little thing ..... Just, We are Blades and proud will do mate :)

And you have a drink we me???? Fuck off, you'll probably want to bring along a drum and a trumpet 😉

He reminds me of Trevor Hockey .Gets stuck in just like he did but Peck has more skill . He could be a legend in the making . love his commitment but he is getting a reputation for being a firie little git and although we love him for it other teams might go out to wind him up resulting in him not being available for us and that would be a shame . I love the lad as we all do ,I can't wait for him to come up against that little bald headed guy across the city ,now there's a meeting that might be funny .

Not sure he's quite ready to be bracketed alongside the Werewolf for aggression just yet, but I do get your sentiment 👍

He's going to be a good'un - and I hope it's with us for a few years more yet!
 
We can all claim and counter claim anything really, especially without any tangible evidence ...... it's a bit like the origin of the Greasy Chip Butty song being started by the Millers. I do remember the first mutterings of that song back in the fantastic away days of the Division 4 season - and what a season that was!! Miller origin or not, the fact is, that song is well and truly ours. Just like the We're All Pigs Aren't We, is universally accepted as being a grunter thing - just like the trumpet, drum and der der der shite.

Not a problem, so whatever the ifs, buts, maybes, wannabes, or even fuckin zebedeeees ............. that is theirs. Do not feed their ego -its maaaaaaooooooosive enough as it is.

Blades have been using it for years before the pigs, I remember going to Derby with the Handsworth Blades mid 90’s and they were all saying it !!
 
I would honestly say out of Up the Blades/Owls and we’re all Blades/Wednesday the first one is maybe more of a Wednesday thing but both are used equally by both sets of fans, as is calling each other pigs.

Back in the day, the lads I played football with used to go out on a Friday night and get into pissed up debates about this sort of thing for months on end. It was great. Then along came the internet, and every argument is over in about 5 minutes .
