Thought Freeman had a good game today, always been a fan ;-)

Ha ha I thought the opposite in the first half! Chesterfield singled him out and they bullied him for 20 mins, getting into his face and putting pressure on him. Second half, defensively when he dropped deeper he struggled again...

But, going forward he was excellent, I love how he just clattered through Billy and the Chesterfield defender for his goal, put some good runs in down the right and attacked at every opportunity.

Defensively he isn't great, but when he plays as a wingback his strength really comes from getting forward

I want to praise both wing backs.

Every game without fail they're both getting in the box at the back post and getting on the end of crosses. They're both useful in the air too. It adds a lot to the team from an attacking point of view and makes the formation work. They'll both score more goals this season.

Freeman did exactly what he did in the other Sky game btw - scored a key equaliser in the second half... then did the interview with Billy at the end!
