Id definitley go if we drew

i think we will win though

I would go for same team as S64 looking at that

Well I opted against going to the game today cos I doubted Warnock would want to take the FA Cup seriously and now we're 3-0 down at home. What an absolute joke.
It's one thing to be a bit cautious by not wanting to get crucial players injured, but it's another thing to get completely embarrassed at home to lower-league opposition.
I don't agree with it at all. If I'd paid to watch the game I would be even more disappointed and would certainly feel short-changed. I hope there are boos ringing round Bramall Lane in the next 10 minutes.

I agree that staying in the Prem is our main aim but is that all we've got to look forward to over the next 5 years? First round exits in both cups and finish 17th? I hope not.

Anyone else agree? Anyone think Warnock was spot on?

I went and i wish i hadnt gone and i dont blame the fans for booing we were totally mugged tonight of our money. Was a total disgrace and what was worse were swansea were just as crap as us but still came out 3-0 winners. Dont think i can name a man of the match coz there were all poor Nade was OK, Geary was OK and thats about it. I didnt see S Quinn so im guessing he played ok aswell.
You should be able to get refunds on games like today. I just hope the money goes towards gettin us some decent signings.

crap.... i think sommeil played ok and the only player i clapped at was stephen quinn, Hurst was poor and was the worst match we played all season.. its not on :(

That was the most half-hearted and apalling display I have seen for a long time, I'm not going to name names, instead I'm going to go straight to the even worse thing - our fans. BOOING DOES NOT FCUKING HELP!!! You either try and get behind them or just go home, there's no room for boo-ers at BDTBL.

but then you would moan at people going home early

Just what I was going to say. I don't know what would be worse for a player, to hear the chorus of boos around the ground or playing to a a set of home fans where most have decided to sod off early.

Agreed the players need to know how the fans feel at times.

I booed them at full time and they deserved it, 1-0 would have been bad but 3-0 is disgusting, we put out a team that could have won.

"we want our money back!"

They deserved all they fucking got, complete joke of a performence. No effort, no desire, no hunger, no sprit, FUCK ALL.

I dont blame neil, the side put should have been good enough to win.

The players out there just didnt give a shit.

I booed the lazy bastards off the pitch like everybody else. Can they not handle that with thier 5-6k a week?

Id be happy to get booed the odd time if i was on 6k a week. :)

Thats a refreshing comment amongst all the crap i'm reading elsewhere about him.

Despite his usual tactic of telling the press one thing and his players the other, he was pretty much spot on with his comments and he publically admitted his dissapointment and annoyance with certain people.

The players have let us down today, nobody else.

As for the people wanting their money back etc... yes it was crap, but you pay to watch a game of football, not a guarenteed good performance/win. If you think that was bad enough to warrent a refund, think yourself lucky you've apparently missed out on some of the stuff i've seen over the years (never mind some of our older members).

Out of this "performance" and defeat, I can only see it having a possitive effect. Neil Warnock and the board have been given reason to worry about the depth of the squad which can only make us more determined and perhaps more loose pocketed in the transfer window.

Whether its possible to bring in what we want however, remains to be seen.

The first signing should be revealed by or on Wednesday, so we'll have to wait and see.

Ultimately the manager has to shoulder some of the blame. Agreed they look as though they underperformed and maybe didn't show the commitment and desire, but it is the manager that sends them out, picks the team, decides the tactics and bought most of those players. Looking at that performance in isolation could be very misleading, but maybe they should be selling a few more besides the ones already announced as available.

Hell, I was there when we lost 3-0 to Altrincham in th F.A. Cup so believe me things have been much worse than this, but hey players and the clubs can't have it both ways they are the ones that wanted to attract the nouveau fan who sees it as just another entertainment and if you see a bad performance you're entitled to voice dissatisfaction. If I pay to hear singers and they are crap I'll let 'em know. The Blades are completely different for me, but may not be for many who now attend.

agree 100%, made me think maybe we do need another striker cause hulse is the only one up to it IMHO, webber has just lost interest and nade doesnt pass enough, aswell as other postions

I think you have made a really good point here and one that may be backed up by facts.

Football clubs can't attract the youngsters like they used to in the 60's and 70's when, although still difficult, it may have been more affordable or attractive compared to other forms of entertainment.

The nouveau fan is very worrying.......one defeat, or indeed relegation, and they may be gone.

Not people like me though........problem is we are a dying breed!

:(

I didn't boo the side, I've never booed a United side before and am not about to start now. I did however leave five minutes before the end, and I've never done that before, as my attempt to leave before the end of the fizzy-pop-cup match against Brum was thwarted by the ref blowing for time just as my arse was off the seat. But we were bloody awful against Swansea, and it wasn't really a reserve side either. It wouldn't be any-one's idea of a starting eleven, but apart from Gerrard and Hurst, the others have started more than one Premiership game each and without meaning any disrespect to our opponents, it wasn't Arsenal or Liverpool out there against us.
Warnock and the rest of the coaching staff must shoulder some blame, but there is not a great deal he can do if the players just play badly on the day.
No-one came out of it with much credit, and to me Webber looked totally disinterested.
I'd rather have a player like Monty, not perhaps as technically adept as Webber, but at least he tries his hardest every match. If players can't be bothered, then get rid of them pronto.

I think it said it all when they... shall we say... trickled out at half time... (yes, I managed to take the afternoon off work as it was quiet, thought I'd go to game - why I don't know)...

There was no look of enthusiasm, or effort or even care to win.

Funny how Warnock has a few days off due to illnes and the team go to pot... could it just all be a coincidence?

Listening on the radio it was quite depressing, but this group had probably never played together as a team and there was no take-charge leader on the field. The coach can yell at half-time but he is not on the field where it counts.

Players were pathetic i think they thought it would of been easy and swansea took it to us and beat us deservidley

cant believe how bad we played, so frustrating

We were awful yesterday! Swansea deserved the win fully.

Got to say i think Gerrard is awful! Thats 6 goals in 2 games now. 2 of the shots yesterday were going virtually straight at him, and he should have been able to save them easily!

He wasn't great - but then what about the rest of them? Thought defence was supposed to protect your goalie?

Just shameful & should never be mentioned again

If he cant save a shot thats coming straight to him, thats simply not good enough.

He actually made some decent saves though Gerrard i thought. True he aint up to prem standard at all but there aint much he can do when his defenders are playing wank.

I really used to rate gerrard when he was first at us and he was at everton!

but you can tell he hasnt played in a while and it is effecting us not putting full blame on him but he should have saved the one at boro'
