4th on list, Fred Perkins (RIP) ran the Clowne branch (lived in Creswell) and this branch took me to many many games, happy times.

In the SUSC u12s 5 a side tournament at Retford in June 1972, Clowne were one of the teams.

We won that one year, we would have been probably U15s, played final at Uniteds training ground.

Mainly south Sheffield , Derbyshire, north Notts. A couple t'other side Stocksbridge, Deepcar, High Green. Loads of Blades now Chapeltown, Elsecar, Hoyland way, mainly Pigs though
